Elementary School Study Quiz (11–20)
Elementary School Quiz

Here’s an “Elementary School Quiz” that every elementary school student can definitely understand! There are four difficulty levels, from easy to super hard, and the questions are about school supplies everyone uses.
If you’re a student who uses these items every day, it should be simple—so aim for a perfect score and give it a try! Knowing the names of school supplies is important for keeping track of what you bring.
That way, if you can’t find something, you can quickly ask a parent or teacher for help.
If there are items you only vaguely remember, take this chance to learn them for sure.
Creative Kanji Quiz

When it comes to kanji-based quizzes, a variety of ideas come to mind: quizzes on difficult-to-read kanji, fill-in-the-blank puzzles for two-character and four-character compounds, synonym and antonym quizzes, and so on.
What we’re introducing here, however, is a “creative kanji quiz.” As the name suggests, “creative kanji” involves producing original characters by combining actual kanji and the like.
There’s even a contest hosted by The Sankei Shimbun and the Shirakawa Shizuka Institute of East Asian Characters and Culture at Ritsumeikan University, so quite a few people may have tried coming up with their own creative kanji.
For a quiz, you can use creative kanji that have actually won awards, or you can intentionally use original creations devised by the quizmaster.
The latter puts the quizmaster’s sense to the test and might make things even more exciting!
Witty Riddle

A tontchi quiz is a type of puzzle that requires flexible thinking.
For example, you might rephrase words in the question with different terms, or have a sudden insight about what a metaphor in the question is referring to.
The key is to loosen up your thinking and consider various possibilities.
Since “tonchi” refers to the wisdom to respond resourcefully, tackling tontchi quizzes together might prove useful when the moment calls for it.
Aim to become a master of tonchi to rival Ikkyu-san, and enjoy lots of quizzes.
Hiragana Fill-in-the-Blank Quiz

The Hiragana fill-in-the-blank quiz tests how many words you can come up with.
As the name suggests, questions are presented with part of a word hidden, like “ひら〇な.” In this case, the answer would be “ひらがな.” In the same way, you fill in the hidden part with the correct hiragana to find the answer, and the difficulty increases as more characters are hidden.
Use the hints when you need them, and try tackling lots of questions!
How do you read this? Kanji quiz!

This is a quiz where you learn about kanji that build on the characters taught at school—forms where the same kanji are lined up.
「森(もり)」が「木(き)」三つでできているように、文字の数が増えると読み方や意味がどのように変化するかを探っていきます。
Some of the expanded forms include difficult kanji not usually taught in school, so the hints will be crafted to encourage imagination.
Because the quiz connects kanji with their readings and more, it should make learning kanji more enjoyable while deepening interest and knowledge.
School Event Quiz

Wouldn’t quizzes themed around school events be interesting for elementary school students? You could show photos of the events, list the activities in bullet points, or make the event dates into questions—there are many ways to ask! It might also be fun to research events held not only at your own school but also at other schools or in different regions and turn those into quiz questions.
Focus on a variety of events and have fun together.
Art Sense Quiz

A quiz where you have to identify the hidden ‘picture’ within an image that looks as if it’s been drawn in pieces.
The more you look at it, the more puzzling it seems—it’s a mysterious illustration.
Those who can answer it are said to have a ‘genius streak’ and a high level of ‘artistic sense’!
