Which month do you like?
I often hear people say they like the month or season they were born in.
I can kind of understand the idea that the climate of your birth season suits you.
There are also preferences like liking or disliking the heat, or liking or being bad with the cold.
For partners or family—people you spend a lot of time with—seasonal likes and dislikes might be important.
What pet would you get?
You often hear the question, “Are you a dog person or a cat person?” People who love animals might be tempted to say there’s no such faction! But if you were to live with a pet in the future, which animal would you choose? Even if you already have a pet at home, try answering under the assumption of which one you would welcome in the future.
What did you want to be when you were a child—what occupation?
When you were a child, many of you probably wrote about your dreams for the future or the job you hoped to have in your elementary school graduation essays.
Do you remember what you wrote? Some of you might have changed your answer depending on the age—wanting to be one thing in kindergarten but something different in elementary school.
If your childhood dream actually came true, we’d love to hear how it happened.

What is your favorite sport?
Sports aren’t just fun to play; they’re also enjoyable to watch, and what people enjoy about them varies from person to person.
How about thinking about your favorite sports and why you like them, to get a better sense of your hobbies? It could also be interesting to trace which sports you’ve played and which you’ve watched, and how that’s changed over time.
Talking about which aspects you find appealing and showing your passion might make it even more enjoyable.
Where is the place you want to visit the most abroad?
There probably aren’t many people who have traveled around the world.
And surely many people have a country they long to visit at least once before they die.
It might be hard to narrow down the countries you want to visit to just one, but it’s a fun topic to get excited about.
If you could bring only one thing to a deserted island, what would it be?
You often see this presented as multiple-choice questions in things like personality tests, right? A knife, a radio, a lighter, and so on…
But each has its pros and cons.
Something is always missing or can’t be compensated for, which is why discussions unfold.
It’s the kind of question that sparks conversation again from why you chose what you did.
What is your favorite food?
You can ask this question to anyone, from kids to the elderly.
It could be something they’ve loved since they were born and still haven’t changed, or something they’ve recently gotten hooked on and keep eating.
Food topics are easy to get people talking, and they often lead to other conversations.
Dissing someone’s favorite food is bad manners, you know!
