Original Certificate of Appreciation Award Ceremony

Certificates are often given to students, but how about presenting a certificate of appreciation from the students and parents to the teachers at the thank-you party? You could elevate the formality with calligraphy, or make it cute by adding illustrations.
It might also be rare and interesting to have the students conduct a formal presentation ceremony for the teachers, just like a principal would.
fashion show

How about holding a fashion show at the appreciation party where students, teachers, and parents all dress up? Since it’s a special day and everyone’s in their best outfits, let’s have some fun by walking like models and taking commemorative photos.
You could set up a runway and have the MC introduce each model—things like “A hardworking Class 1 student” or “A language arts teacher whose secret hobby is surfing.” That would really liven up the event.
Fruits Basket

If you want a game everyone can enjoy at the thank-you party, Fruit Basket is a great choice.
The usual rules are to divide into groups beforehand, and only the people in the announced group stand up and move.
But it’s also fun to add a twist: announce “People who ___,” and only those who fit that description move.
To give it a graduation feel, try prompts like “People who have taken a class with Mr./Ms.
___” or “People who have been inside the PE equipment storage room.” Looking back on experiences from school life like these is sure to get everyone excited!
Dance: “Sorry for Being Cute”

We also recommend trying an original choreography to “Kawaikute Gomen,” the song that went viral on social media for dance and makeup videos! The lyrics depict a cute, slightly sly girl getting ready to go out, and they’re full of moments many girls can relate to.
In fact, toward the end, the song carries the message, “Isn’t it okay to treat yourself with more care?”—so it’s not just a cutesy tune! How about everyone dancing to it with the spirit of living true to yourself? Of course, it’s also a hit if dads dance to it for laughs!
Drawing Telephone Game

Introducing a drawing-based telephone game that expresses the familiar whisper game through pictures! In this version, players line up in a single file with drawing paper taped to their backs.
The person at the very back draws the given prompt on the back of the person in front, passing it along through the line.
It’s challenging both to guess what the drawing is just from the sensation on your back and to convey the answer with your drawing skills—even adults are guaranteed to have a blast! Whether the best artist should be at the front or at the very back could change the outcome, so the order you line up in might be the key to victory.
Give this game a try!
Poi performance

Poi is one of the props used in juggling, originally derived from items used in ceremonies by the indigenous people of New Zealand.
Each has a ball with fluttering ribbons attached to the end of a long string.
Poi performance involves holding one poi in each hand and dancing.
When many people swing their poi in unison with large, synchronized movements, the paths of the poi look beautiful and make for a compelling show.
Choosing the right background music is important, too!
Release balloon

It’s a ceremony where each person holds a balloon, and at the cue of “Ready, set, go!” everyone lets go and releases their balloon.
Watching so many balloons take off overlaps with the image of the children graduating from elementary school and moving on.
Sometimes a small note is attached to each balloon, and there have even been cases where someone who found a note sent a letter to the school—creating a lovely opportunity for connection.
In general, you can do this freely, but depending on the area, permission may be required or it may be prohibited, so please check the local rules when planning the ceremony.
