Neither eki-soba nor fried dumplings originated in Tokyo. For reference, eki-soba is a dish consisting of noodles similar to Chinese noodles served in a broth resembling udon soup, and it is believed to have originated at Himeji Station.

The red lantern at Kaminarimon weighs about 700 kg and measures 3.9 meters in height and 3.3 meters in width. Incidentally, it is said that the lantern is replaced with a new one roughly every ten years.
