Despite his small stature, Levi is known as the captain of the Scout Regiment and “humanity’s strongest soldier,” using his exceptional physical abilities and masterful skill with the Omni-Directional Mobility Gear. With his overwhelming combat prowess and cool-headed judgment, he is a character who earns immense trust from his comrades.

At the time of graduating from the 104th Cadet Corps, Eren ranked fifth. Burning with a strong desire to defeat the Titans, Eren possessed exceptional combat ability and fighting spirit from the start, and he was also skilled at using the vertical maneuvering equipment. Mikasa took the top spot, followed by Jean and others.

Captain Levi frequently enjoys black tea in Attack on Titan. There are several scenes where he appreciates its aroma and flavor. For someone as fastidious as he is, taking time to drink tea amid the harsh conditions of the battlefield likely provided precious moments of peace and comfort.

Wall Sina

The three walls, from the outside in, are Wall Maria, Wall Rose, and Wall Sina, with Wall Sina being the name of the innermost wall. Thanks to these walls, humanity enjoyed a century of peace. However, when Wall Maria was breached, that peace began to crumble.

nape (of the neck)

To defeat a Titan, you must deeply slash the nape of its neck with a blade. There is an area about one square meter on the Titan’s nape; cutting deeply into that spot destroys the Titan’s true body and halts its activity. This is the only weak point—attacking anywhere else won’t bring it down.

Because I want to become human again

Titans are former humans who have become mindless giants. They unconsciously seek out humans who possess the power of the “Nine Titans,” which allows one to return to human form by being eaten by someone else, and they attempt to devour people. Notably, their actions are not simply driven by hunger.

Survey Corps

The unit Eren strongly wished to join was the Scout Regiment, which conducts expeditions beyond the walls. At first, he considered joining another corps so as not to worry Mikasa and Armin, but he longed for the world outside the walls, and ultimately joined the Scout Regiment.

Mikasa cherishes the red scarf she received from Eren when she was a child. He wrapped it around her to keep her warm after he saved her from kidnappers who were about to attack her when he was young. For her, this scarf is a precious memory of Eren.

Shiganshina District

Eren lived with his family in the Shiganshina District, located in the southern part of Wall Maria. The area inside the walls is broadly divided into three zones, and the closer you live to the outer edge, the poorer people tend to be. The story takes a major turn when the wall is breached.

Three-Dimensional Maneuver Gear

The device humanity developed to fight the Titans is the omni-directional mobility gear. It consists of gas canisters and wire-launching mechanisms worn at the waist, along with specialized blades. In addition, various other equipment was developed to suit different operations, such as Thunder Spears and ultra-hardened blades compatible with the omni-directional mobility gear.
