Hit and popular songs by w-inds. (Winds)

I’ve put together a playlist of songs by w-inds., a three-member dance-vocal unit.

When they debuted, w-inds.

were active as the junior group to the dance-vocal unit DA PUMP, and DA PUMP’s KEN actually handled some of their choreography.

They have released works and performed live not only in Japan but across various Asian countries, winning awards in multiple nations.

Their group’s image color is blue, which is said to be inspired by the color of the Japan national soccer team’s uniform.

Please enjoy the songs of w-inds., who continue to shine across the seas.

w-inds.’s classic and popular songs (11–20)

Love is massagew-inds.

The ninth single by w-inds.

It was also used in a commercial song for Bourbon’s “MINTREX.” The chorus has a catchy, easy-to-remember melody and lyrics.

It’s a bittersweet yet gentle love song about thinking of your partner—two people who are awkward and end up hurting each other, but still want to cherish their relationship from here on out.

After the rainw-inds.

The 24th single by w-inds.

It was used as the ending theme for the TV Tokyo anime “Katekyo Hitman Reborn!” The choreography for this song was done by NAOTO of EXILE and Sandaime J Soul Brothers.

The song has a tone that evokes the refreshing feeling after rain.

IT’S IN THE STARSw-inds.

The 18th single by w-inds.

On the CD, this song, the second track “Philosophy,” and the third track “Special Thanx!” are connected non-stop like a medley.

The original song is “IT’S IN THE STARS” by American singer LaGaylia Frazier.

Boogie Woogie 66w-inds.

The 20th single by w-inds.

A very groovy track featuring brass.

Unusually, there are many rap parts by vocalist Keita.

The music video was filmed at Kobe International House.

Coincidentally, exactly nine years after the shoot, on August 8, they also held a live concert at Kobe International House.

The Ever-Changing Skyw-inds.

A refreshing, upbeat song.

At the time, it was also used as the CM song for Bourbon’s “Bourbon Gum,” and the band members themselves appeared in the commercial.

It’s a love song about thinking of a sweetheart.

While the sky may change, the message that the feelings for a loved one never will is especially appealing.

To the place of dreamsw-inds.

The 14th single by w-inds.

It was used as the image song for the 83rd All Japan High School Soccer Championship.

The lyrics encourage people who are chasing their dreams.

Since it’s a song for the soccer tournament, the music video was filmed at Ajinomoto Stadium.

Love Trainw-inds.

A song included as the first track on the third album, “PRIME OF LIFE.” It’s about a protagonist who moved to Tokyo to chase his dreams and sings about his long-distance girlfriend who lives in the countryside.

The lyrics include the phrase “loop line,” which can be taken to refer to the Yamanote Line.
