Hit and popular songs by w-inds. (Winds)

I’ve put together a playlist of songs by w-inds., a three-member dance-vocal unit.

When they debuted, w-inds.

were active as the junior group to the dance-vocal unit DA PUMP, and DA PUMP’s KEN actually handled some of their choreography.

They have released works and performed live not only in Japan but across various Asian countries, winning awards in multiple nations.

Their group’s image color is blue, which is said to be inspired by the color of the Japan national soccer team’s uniform.

Please enjoy the songs of w-inds., who continue to shine across the seas.

w-inds. classic and popular songs (21–30)

the sixteenth-night moonw-inds.

The 16th single by w-inds.

It’s a bittersweet breakup song about watching a waning moon—just past full—alone, like a sixteenth-night moon.

The gentle melody and sound envelop the protagonist’s sorrowful feelings as he wonders, “Are you watching this fading moon with that person, too?”

FANTASYw-inds.

The 34th single by w-inds.

It’s a retro-modern party tune with lyrics that straightforwardly express the most dazzling moments of romance.

In the music video, they’re enjoying glamorous games like poker, roulette, and slots.

In Love With The Musicw-inds.

The 35th single by w-inds.

According to vocalist Keita, it’s a cool piece that fuses funk and modern elements.

Among fans, the choreography for this song has become a hot topic for being extremely advanced and intense.

It can be described as a quintessential w-inds.

track that showcases their refined, high level of skill.

Rain Is Fallin’w-inds.

This is w-inds.’ 26th single, a song in collaboration with G-DRAGON from the Korean group BIGBANG.

The rap lyrics were written by G-DRAGON himself.

It’s a danceable, lively track that really gets the crowd going.

Still on the streetw-inds.

A track included on their fifth album, “THANKS.” It features a cool, stylish sound.

The lyrics look back on the days before their debut when they performed on the streets, and express determination to push forward into the future—essentially a song from w-inds.’ perspective.

TOKYOw-inds.

A song included on w-inds.’ seventh album, “Seventh Ave.” It’s about a protagonist who moves to Tokyo to chase their dreams.

The music video features junior labelmate Mariya Nishiuchi and Take2’s Takahiro Azuma, among others.

The members of w-inds.

themselves also moved to Tokyo from Hokkaido and Kyushu to pursue their dreams, so they’ve commented that this song resonates with their own experiences.

agehaw-inds.

The title track of w-inds.’ fourth album, “ageha.” The music video is their first with a drama-style storyline and stars actor Yuta Yamazaki.

It’s a song about thinking of a close friend who’s going far away.

Ryōhei, one of the members, has named it his favorite track on the album.
