Last updated:

I’ve put together a playlist of songs by w-inds., a three-member dance-vocal unit.

When they debuted, w-inds.

were active as the junior group to the dance-vocal unit DA PUMP, and DA PUMP’s KEN actually handled some of their choreography.

They have released works and performed live not only in Japan but across various Asian countries, winning awards in multiple nations.

Their group’s image color is blue, which is said to be inspired by the color of the Japan national soccer team’s uniform.

Please enjoy the songs of w-inds., who continue to shine across the seas.

w-inds. Classic and Popular Songs (1–10)

Forever Memoriesw-inds.

w-inds.’s debut single from 15 years ago.

At the time, their sweet looks and boyish, almost girlish vocals drew attention.

The song is about heartbreak.

But rather than a negative breakup song like “I just want to forget quickly,” it has a bittersweet message: “We may no longer be together, but our memories won’t fade and will remain forever.”

the four seasonsw-inds.

w-inds.’ 13th single.

A poignant breakup song that looks back on the four seasons spent with a lover and resolves to bravely face the seasons ahead without them.

It was also performed on the Kōhaku Uta Gassen, where vocalist Keita had a cute little mishap and slightly flubbed the lyrics.

Paradoxw-inds.

w-inds.’ third single.

In the music video, their dancing on water leaves a strong impression.

The lyrics depict a serious yet awkward protagonist struggling with the contradictions of life and love.

It’s a perfect song for w-inds.

at the time—still a bit innocent, yet slightly more grown-up.

Feel The Fatew-inds.

The second single by w-inds.

Although only four months had passed since their debut single, vocalist Keita’s voice had changed and become slightly deeper.

This song marked their first entry into the Oricon Top 10.

In the music video, they perform together with foreign dancers.

Dedicated to youw-inds.

A ballad included on w-inds.’ third album, “PRIME OF LIFE.” It vividly portrays the feelings of a protagonist who has lost their lover.

This realism comes from the fact that lyricist shung.

based the song on a friend’s experience of losing their fiancé to cancer.

SUPER LOVER?I need you love tonight?w-inds.

The eighth single by w-inds.

It’s a dance track that reached No.

1 on the Oricon charts and is very popular among fans.

It’s based on the Italian disco song “Super Lover.” On television, they have performed this song in collaborations with Ayumi Hamasaki and with SPEED.

TRIALw-inds.

The 19th single by w-inds.

It’s an upbeat song about a protagonist who keeps chasing their dreams despite adversity.

The composer is the hitmaker Hiroo Yamaguchi, who has also written songs for EXILE and Kumi Koda.

The sound is refreshing and pop.
