Classic Medley 2019 – Pianica Magician
The “You can’t go home until your answers match” game! For prompts like “When you think of snacks?” or “When you think of juice?”, everyone answers or shows an item at the same time, and if everyone’s choices match, you clear the round.
On social media, a popular rule is to go on a shopping run to a convenience store and succeed if everyone’s purchases match.
For a new-hire welcome party, it’s fun to adapt it by writing answers in sketchbooks at hand or picking items from personal belongings.
When you match perfectly with someone, it kind of feels like you’ll get along better, doesn’t it?
Ping-pong ball carrying relay

This is a game you can play with a ladle or a spoon and a ping-pong ball.
Carrying a light ping-pong ball is trickier than you might think! It gets exciting if you make it a team competition.
You can adjust the difficulty by adding twists to the course.
Why not add your own original elements and come up with a fun game?
Ritz Fighter

A popular game for head-to-head battles is Ritz Fighter.
The rules are simple: you stuff Ritz crackers into your mouth all at once, and whoever finishes eating first wins.
Imagine it for a moment—Ritz crackers suck the moisture out of your mouth, right? That difficulty is what makes the game fun.
Try putting about five crackers in your mouth per person as a guideline.
Of course, drinking water partway through is not allowed.
That said, please only try it within a safe and reasonable limit.
Yamanote Line game

This is the classic, all-time favorite—the well-known Yamanote Line Game! You simply go around saying things that match the prompt in time with the rhythm, and the simple rules make it super exciting.
It gets even more lively if you tailor the theme to your group—like a company theme at work or a school theme in class!
Ping-pong ball relay

It’s a game that tests speed and teamwork, played like a relay using a spoon with a ping-pong ball on it.
The course has you go around set cones and come back, focusing on balance so you don’t drop the ping-pong ball.
Because teams compete on speed, the rush to go faster makes it harder to keep your balance with the ball.
A rule where two people hold hands and walk back adds a cooperative element, so that version is also recommended.
One-Leg Rope Sumo

Two people face each other standing on one leg and play sumo by pulling and pushing with a short rope held in both hands.
The person who lets their raised foot touch the ground loses.
It could be exciting as a tournament, too.
You need a sense of balance, but push-and-pull technique is important as well!
Blindfolded smartphone input

We’ll have someone give us a simple quiz and enter our answers on a smartphone.
But doing it normally isn’t very exciting, so let’s put on a blindfold and type our answers on the phone! Of course, whoever enters the answer correctly wins, but chances are we won’t type it properly, creating funny sentences and making things lively!
