While this piece doesn’t span an exceptionally wide vocal range, it repeatedly requires low-register falsetto, which can make it feel as challenging to sing as a song with a very wide range.

The female TV personality Ourin, who’s been very active on variety shows, has recently been stepping up her work as an artist as well, frequently ranking high on the charts.

It’s a piece that seems to emulate the musical style of the world-renowned British singer Dua Lipa, featuring a disco-meets-electropop vibe.
While it doesn’t have an abundance of high notes, the mixed voice that comes in toward the end of the chorus poses a fair level of difficulty.

This track was released as a digital-only single on January 22, 2020, and it gives the impression of “Only Vaundy could sing this!” I think you can broadly divide the song into two parts: the calmer first half and the latter half where the high notes really shine.
The range is very wide too, from A#2 to C5.
In the rap section of the first half, that relaxed feel is key.
Sing it coolly, but make sure your words are clear so it doesn’t turn into a mumble.
For the high notes starting from the chorus in the second half, lift your facial muscles to get ready, then project your voice as if aiming far into the distance! Since the high notes keep coming, that burst of energy—sheer momentum—is crucial.
When you nail this part, it feels amazing for both the singer and the listener! Vaundy has many challenging songs, so they’re really rewarding to practice.

m-flo is a music group highly acclaimed for their authentic mix of R&B and dance music.
If you’re in your late twenties to early thirties, you may well have been captivated by their sound, which rivals Western music.
Among their works, the song I especially recommend is No Question.
LISA, the vocalist with a distinctive tone, actually excels in the lower register, and her songs often feature a surprisingly wide vocal range.
This track is no exception—the span from low to high notes is broad, making it quite challenging.
MainstreamBE:FIRST
Vocal groups in Japan have undergone major changes.
With the addition of K-pop-like elements, there is now a much higher demand for vocal ability and dance performance than before.
The boys group that sparked this movement is BE:FIRST.
Their hit song “Mainstream” is hard-hitting, hip-hop-influenced dance music, and falsetto appears throughout.
It also features low-register rap, giving the song an impressive overall vocal range.

Silk Sonic is a duo that has gained popularity with a nostalgic sound incorporating the 1970s New Soul genre.
It’s the unit formed by Bruno Mars, who’s hugely popular in Japan as well, together with Anderson .Paak.
Among Silk Sonic’s songs, the one I especially recommend is Leave the Door Open.
It’s a soulful track characterized by its challenging vocal lines and wide vocal range.

ALI is a band centered on funk and soul whose musicality has earned high praise from hardcore music aficionados.
If you’re into Black music, you’ve probably heard of them.
The track where they collaborate with rapper Hannya is “Professionalism feat.
Hannya.” While the range isn’t extremely wide, the repeated use of falsetto makes it more challenging than it sounds.
If you want it to come across well, try singing the mid-range with rich overtones.
