Hit and popular songs by 10-FEET (Ten Feet)
We’d like to introduce some popular songs by 10-FEET, a three-piece rock band from Kyoto Prefecture.
Their appeal lies in the human weakness, strength, and kindness expressed in their lyrics.
On top of that, they’re straightforwardly cool—they embody a wide range of charms.
Brimming with such charm, they are now based in their hometown of Kyoto, but there was a time in the past when they moved their base to Tokyo.
It’s said that the discussion where they decided to head to Tokyo took place in the meeting space at the back right of Studio Rag’s Kitashirakawa location.
Be sure to check out the fiery playlist from 10-FEET, a band with close ties to Studio Rag!

10-FEET’s classic and popular songs (61–70)
hammer ska10-FEET
The vocals at the beginning of the song are powerful and feel great.
Since the opening impact is strong, like “JUNGLES,” it could work well as BGM when creating a slideshow using live sound effects or photos.
Also, on “6-feat 2,” released in 2014—a collection of 10-FEET collaborations with other artists—this song is performed in collaboration with Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra.
That version is awesome too, so be sure to check it out.
hammer ska feat. Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra10-FEET

From “6-FEET 2.” Here’s a boldly reimagined version of 10-FEET’s signature song “hammer ska,” featuring none other than Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, a ska band Japan proudly presents to the world.
As the title suggests, it’s a ska-based track, so it pairs perfectly with the horn section.
The result packs some serious punch!
recollection feat. Ayano Tsuji10-FEET

It is included on the collaboration album “6-feat” by 10-FEET and various artists.
Tsuji Ayano’s clear, translucent vocals give the track a refreshing touch.
While it’s an unusual collaboration in terms of musical genre, you’ll be surprised by how well they match.
Beyond That feat. ROTTENGRAFFTY10-FEET

From “6-FEET 2.” This is also the well-known live staple “Sono Mukō e,” featuring vocals by N∀OKI and NOBUYA from our hometown friends ROTTENGRAFFTY.
In the released recording, the arrangement that shifts from acoustic to full band—evoking hide’s “50% & 50% (Crystal Lake Version)”—is superb.
The Lost Thing10-FEET

It might be good to listen to this song when you’ve lost something important and can no longer find it.
It’s filled with many relatable phrases, so it may make you reflect.
With its gentle sound and straightforward lyrics, the song is easy to listen to and resonates with the heart.
CHERRY BLOSSOME10-FEET

If I had to pick one 10-FEET song that’s perfect for graduation, it would be this one! Although it’s a track from their first album “springman,” released in 2002, it’s still a staple often played live, so many of you might already know it.
The lyrics carry a message like a truth of life: when something ends, something new begins.
It’s sure to give you the strength to keep pushing forward as you graduate and step into a new environment.
And if you perform it live, how about incorporating the towel-throwing bit that happens every year in the audience at Kyoto Daisakusen?
GOODBYE TO ROMANCE10-FEET

10-FEET is a three-piece rock band whose loud sound and genre-blending style—incorporating reggae, hip-hop, and more—has earned strong support.
The song “GOODBYE TO ROMANCE,” which closes their second album REALIFE, also drew attention for featuring chorus contributions from members of allied bands like SHACHI and Maximum the Hormone.
That feeling when days you once even found bothersome transform into special memories at the moment of graduation is something many people have likely experienced themselves.
With its driving, high-speed ensemble that heightens the sense of a turning point, this is a fitting number for the final live show of one’s student days.
