Hit and popular songs by 10-FEET (Ten Feet)
We’d like to introduce some popular songs by 10-FEET, a three-piece rock band from Kyoto Prefecture.
Their appeal lies in the human weakness, strength, and kindness expressed in their lyrics.
On top of that, they’re straightforwardly cool—they embody a wide range of charms.
Brimming with such charm, they are now based in their hometown of Kyoto, but there was a time in the past when they moved their base to Tokyo.
It’s said that the discussion where they decided to head to Tokyo took place in the meeting space at the back right of Studio Rag’s Kitashirakawa location.
Be sure to check out the fiery playlist from 10-FEET, a band with close ties to Studio Rag!

MONKEY10-FEET

I thought it might be a slightly comical song, but it turns out to be a very 10-FEET-like, encouraging track that supports the desire to change, saying, “It’s not at all strange for a person to change suddenly in a single day.” Isn’t it wonderful how 10-FEET pairs fun, upbeat music with lyrics that give you courage?
What’s up?10-FEET

This song, with a music video that leaves an impression—featuring long hair, leather outfits, makeup, and a wall of Marshalls in a style reminiscent of overseas metal bands—has a chorus that bursts open in a way that feels incredibly satisfying.
In any case, this ridiculously cool MV is just the best.
back to the sunset10-FEET

In stark contrast to the arpeggio-driven intro, the rest of the song is a fast-paced, exhilarating track propelled by a two-beat rhythm.
With lyrics that evoke a beautiful sunset, this wonderful song becomes a short yet fiery number at live shows, often sparking a wave of crowd surfers.
recollection10-FEET

This song, “Recollection,” is one I personally love, especially for its drum intro.
The lyric “The me of the future tells me: the one who made my dream come true is YOU” is wonderful.
It makes me feel that if I work hard now, I’ll be able to thank my present self in the future—so now is the time to give it my all.

CRYBABY10-FEET

It is included on their seventh album, “thread.” You can enjoy the harmony between TAKUMA’s straightforward lead vocals and NAOKI’s backing chorus.
With a poignant yet beautiful melody, it’s one of those tracks that delivers a sense of speed while still being deeply listenable.
SEE YOU10-FEET

It is included on their fifth single, “HEY!”.
The song was created by guitarist-vocalist TAKUMA for his beloved grandfather, who passed away when TAKUMA was a child.
The warm, gentle melody and vocals convey TAKUMA’s love for his grandfather.
Sad but ture10-FEET

A track covering Metallica’s “Sad but True” from the Metallica cover project album “METAL – IKKA.” TAKUMA, the guitarist/vocalist, has always liked metal—especially Metallica—so both the sound and the vocals make this an outstanding track.
