Hit and popular songs by 10-FEET (Ten Feet)

We’d like to introduce some popular songs by 10-FEET, a three-piece rock band from Kyoto Prefecture.

Their appeal lies in the human weakness, strength, and kindness expressed in their lyrics.

On top of that, they’re straightforwardly cool—they embody a wide range of charms.

Brimming with such charm, they are now based in their hometown of Kyoto, but there was a time in the past when they moved their base to Tokyo.

It’s said that the discussion where they decided to head to Tokyo took place in the meeting space at the back right of Studio Rag’s Kitashirakawa location.

STONE COLD BREAK feat. FIRE BALL10-FEET

From “6-FEET 2.” This track features the live staple “STONE COLD BREAK” with Yokohama reggae group FIRE BALL.

While honoring the original, it boldly adds new lyrics, centered around FIRE BALL’s cherished motto, “ONE LINK.”

Fire and Rhythm10-FEET

A track with a striking intro that surges like a heavy, thick, undulating wave.

The shimmering of the sound evokes the title “Fire and Rhythm.” Despite the intro, verse, pre-chorus, and chorus each having quite different flavors, they harmonize beautifully and blend exquisitely as a whole, leaving a strong sense of satisfaction after listening.

BASKET CASE10-FEET

It’s a cover packed with respect for a beloved overseas band—a raw burst of that very first, impulsive spark.

The track appears on 10-FEET’s EP “Re: 6‑feat,” released in June 2014.

The original is Green Day’s classic that topped the alternative rock charts for five consecutive weeks back in 1994! Born from the songwriter’s own urgent struggle with panic disorder, the lyrics’ world is powerfully claimed by 10-FEET through their trademark intensity and weighty band sound.

When you’re gripped by overpowering anxiety or impatience and listen to this song, doesn’t that wall of sound make you feel as if everything is being affirmed?

Trapped10-FEET

This is a 10-FEET song that appeared in January 2004 as a track on the single “REALIFE” and was also included on their major-label debut album of the same name released that year.

It is said to embody their resolve as they expanded their activities from the indie scene to the major stage.

Set to an energetic sound, the lyrics convey gratitude, self-reflection, and the weight of life’s choices.

The self-sacrificing love portrayed here—taking on sorrow oneself while delivering joy to you—can’t help but stir the heart.

When you’re facing a major decision, this song will surely give you a powerful push forward.
