Aiful “Movie Theater” VersionMao Daichi, Hiroki Konno

The now-familiar duo? Mao Daichi as the proprietress and Hiroki Konno as the chef appear in Aiful’s commercials.
Recently, Mao Daichi has been stepping out of her proprietress duties, and in this “Movie Theater” version, while Konno is watching a film, the proprietress suddenly bursts onto the screen and says her usual line, “Is there love there?” But it’s a French movie, and she’s speaking Japanese.
What’s more, Daichi delivers the Japanese in a vaguely French-sounding way, which makes the commercial hilarious.
SoftBank Google Pixel 4a (5G) “Chidori’s New Common Sense” Editionplover

SoftBank often features star-studded casts and always has commercials with fun topics.
In this “Chidori’s New Common Sense” spot, the comedy duo Chidori show up sharply dressed in suits that are—well—distinctively quirky, and they promote a smartphone with an equally quirky way of holding it.
The only thing in color is the phone’s screen while everything else is in black and white, which looks cool, but your eyes keep getting drawn to their poses and how they’re holding the phone.
It’s so striking that it’s hard to even register what the commercial is advertising—an impact that strong.
