Iris Ohyama’s commercials often feature humorous direction, and this time the trigger for the suspicion is, surprisingly, an Iris Ohyama product.

Shojiki Kaname, who hadn’t really cooked before, buys the Chef Drum, which leads to him being suspected.

Murakawa’s convincingly scary portrayal of the girlfriend is outstanding, and all eyes are on Kaname as he’s relentlessly pressed.

This commercial, featuring a male employee as the protagonist, is themed around a company year-end party.

The man had decided to himself, “I’m having KFC tonight,” but a year-end party was suddenly scheduled for that day.

He agonized over whether to attend until the last minute, but in the end he ran off saying, “I can’t today!” and ate KFC at home.

Many people can probably relate to that feeling when, once you’ve decided on KFC, nothing else will do.
