Memorable Commercials [June 2025] (21–30)
Heart Throbsnobobyknows̟+

Speaking of Marugame Seimen’s snacks, the “Udonuts” caused quite a buzz, didn’t they? Following that came the Marugame Shake Pippi.
It’s apparently made from deep-fried udon, and seeing people munch on it with a crisp, toasty crunch makes you want to try it yourself.
The background music is a parody of nobodyknows+’s signature song “Kokoro Odoru,” which boosts the upbeat, high-energy vibe of the commercial.
The original track was released in 2004, featuring members trading rapid-fire rap verses over a high-speed beat.
If you spent your youth in the 2000s, there’s a good chance you belted it out at karaoke back in the day.
Head Uptimelesz

It’s a gentle-feeling commercial that depicts what seems like Sou Matsushima’s everyday life wearing PEACH JOHN loungewear.
It shows casual conversations that happen when living with someone, and through the softness of the words and the way he appears, it conveys a real sense of relaxation.
Further emphasizing the calm atmosphere portrayed in the visuals is timelesz’s “Head Up.” The warm mood—created by a soothing yet powerful beat layered with tender vocals—leaves a strong impression.
Premeditated revengeMakishimamu Za Horumon

It opens with the rugby club forming a huddle and shouting.
You’d think they’re firing themselves up for a match, but… they’re saying, “Man, I’m beat today!” and “Let’s blast away the fatigue with U.F.O.!” Surprisingly, this commercial actually depicts a post-practice scene.
After the huddle, it cuts to the rugby players slurping down U.F.O.
with gusto, and their voracious eating is overwhelming to watch.
For the BGM, “Yoshu Fukushu,” which has been used in past commercials, makes a return.
The calm midsection of the song is performed with original parody lyrics.
Midsummer day!Nogizaka 46

This commercial has a unique worldview: Goro Inagaki is casually browsing SmartNews when he suddenly finds himself surrounded by members of Nogizaka46 and has somehow become one of them.
The members react properly to the coupons he was looking at, and from the way he even joins their live performance, you can sense that, though a bit bewildered, he’s blending in as part of the group.
The song that heightens the sense of excitement in the live scenes depicted in the video is Nogizaka46’s “Manatsubi yo.” With its fresh, summery sound and bright vocals, it evokes a positive, forward-looking feeling.
ButterflySuiyōbi no Campanella

In this commercial, Uta introduces got2b’s hair color, clearly conveying what kind of look you can achieve.
The content straightforwardly depicts the change in hair color, and from the joyful and surprised expressions of people whose hair has changed, you can sense positive emotions.
The song that further accentuates the lightness of the visuals is Wednesday Campanella’s “Butterfly.” While the track conveys a distinctive sense of floating, the powerful vocals layered on top impart a feeling of strength, as if pushing you forward.
4na
This is a commercial for xC that aired in 2023, in which Keiko Kitagawa talks about why she wears a wristwatch.
Many people will probably relate to her words about how looking at her favorite watch wrapped around her wrist lifts her spirits.
The CM features a model in a color called “Sakura Pink,” which is both vibrant and elegant, and the overall tone of the video is finished with a refined feel.
The background music is a gentle track that fits the visuals well, performed by singer-songwriter 4na.
At the time the commercial aired, details such as the song title had not been revealed, so many viewers were likely curious about it.
Look UpNulbarich

In this 2019 commercial for XC, the familiar face of Keiko Kitagawa appears.
She spots an XC watch in a shop window, tries it on inside, and the way her expression instantly brightens is striking.
The background music is Nulbarich’s “Look Up,” marking their second consecutive year after also being featured in the 2018 ad.
The lyrics are filled with encouraging, uplifting words for those feeling down, and listening to it gives you courage and the strength to move forward again.
Paired with the refreshingly clear vocals, it’s a song that lifts your spirits.
