[December 2025] CM Song Compilation (31–40)
Chase the ShineSPYAIR

This commercial captures the moment when Fuju Kamio wins the race he has been aiming for and is moved to tears.
Seeing Kamio tearfully respond to the winner’s interview, Kazuki Iio proudly remarks, “As expected of my pupil,” while Shido Nakamura says, “As expected of my disciple,” with both implying they were the ones who nurtured him.
In the end, however, they start bickering as if competing for credit, and the spot wraps up with a light, humorous twist.
Original songIshino Takkyu

This commercial shows the 2000GT, the LFA, and the new GR GT each running on a track, highlighting their speed and power.
It’s a simple concept with nothing but the cars in motion, but that simplicity really conveys their confidence in performance.
The sense of speed expressed in the visuals is further emphasized by an original track by Takkyu Ishino.
While the piece is simple, with a brisk, insistent rhythm, the combination of tempo and tone also communicates a real sense of exhilaration.
I Got YouJames Brown

This is an introductory commercial for The Peel, a sour made from lemon peel.
The three familiar faces from this product’s ads appear, shown playing darts.
The sophisticated combination of suits, darts, and James Brown’s “I Got You” creates a very grown-up vibe that seems to symbolize the flavor of the product.
The background music, “I Got You,” is one of his signature songs, released in 1965.
Riding on a funky performance, the song proclaims feeling on top of the world, and just listening to it really lifts your spirits, doesn’t it?
TOMORROWMayo Okamoto

This is a commercial introducing the nighttime gel pack released by Zeria Pharmaceutical.
It highlights how you can easily take care of your skin by quickly applying it before bed and just going to sleep.
By showing Mami Abe actually using the product, the ad does a great job of conveying how simple it is.
The BGM in this commercial is “TOMORROW,” a signature song by Mayo Okamoto released in 1995.
Many people have likely found support in its lyrics, which offer a gentle push of encouragement.
Recommendation for Adultsdohatsuten

This commercial, which begins with Masato Sakai sprinting in a suit, features a story that makes adults reminisce about their youth.
The place he runs to is McDonald’s, where he orders three Double Cheeseburger sets.
He then heads to the green room of a live music venue.
That day is their first live show after re-forming a band with his friends from school for the first time in 30 years.
As flashbacks show them eating hamburgers back in their student days, the three of them bite into burgers with the same expressions they had back then—such a wonderful sight.
In the latter half of the commercial, we see their performance on stage.
The song they play is Otona no Susume, which also serves as the CM’s background music—an anthem to adulthood that sings about how growing older is neither scary nor bad, and just listening to it gets you more and more fired up.

I want to be with you, not with a bouquetayaka

This commercial expresses Marimo Holdings’ initiatives for the future through the changing scenery seen from a car window.
As Ayaka watches the landscape shift and speaks, the company’s desire to make moments eternal is conveyed.
The song that further amplifies the grand atmosphere depicted in the visuals is Ayaka’s “Not a Bouquet, But I Want to Be with You.” It unfolds from the gentle tones of the piano into a majestic sound as strings build toward the chorus, and her tender yet powerful vocals evoke a sense of hope for the future.
Don’t Worry, Be HappyYoshida Yō, Suzuki Rio

This is a series of commercials featuring Yō Yoshida and Rio Suzuki playing a mother and daughter.
In the “In Winter, Clothes and Books Too” version, it’s said that in winter not only clothes and books dry well, but people do too; and in the “When You Fall for Someone” version, they say that when you fall for someone, fluids and electrolytes are important.
In both commercials, the relaxed, easygoing back-and-forth between Yoshida and Suzuki is striking, and watching them chat with smiles puts the viewer at ease as well.
The background music is Don’t Worry Be Happy, sung by the two performers.
The song, released in 2009 by Kazuyoshi Saito, features lyrics that encourage you to take it easy and not worry too much, even though a lot happens every day.
It’s a perfectly laid-back cheer song that matches the vibe of the commercials.
