This time, we’re sharing lots of origami ghost ideas perfect for three-year-olds.

A ghost you can make simply

Let’s try drawing different expressions! Here are some simple ghost ideas you can make.
All you need is origami paper and a pen.
With easy folding steps, you can create a cute ghost, so it’s perfect to try together with a parent or teacher.
One of the fun parts is adding originality by changing the ghost’s expression—make it smile, cry, or look sleepy.
Using your hands helps develop focus and creativity, and you’ll feel a sense of accomplishment when you’re done! It’s also adorable to have the ghost hold a wand or candy.
Give it a try and make your own variations.
Simple-to-make ghosts and jack-o’-lanterns

Get into origami! Here are simple ideas for making a ghost and a jack-o’-lantern.
All you need are origami paper and a pen.
This idea introduces two folding methods: one for a ghost and one for a jack-o’-lantern.
After finishing the jack-o’-lantern, accordion-folding it will add dimension and make it uniquely fun.
For the ghost, you can draw any face and hands you like to give it your own personality.
Display your creations on the wall or hang them from the ceiling to enjoy a Halloween vibe!
Big ghost

The ghost’s hands are so cute! Here’s an idea for making a big ghost! All you need is origami paper and a pen.
The big ghost idea features adorable hand designs, and you can arrange it to have the ghost hold Halloween or ghost-themed items.
It’s also nice to add accessories like a hat or a bow tie.
Try decorating with stickers or construction paper! The time spent showing each other your finished, one-of-a-kind creations is special and will make lasting memories.

A big-bodied ghost

There are many different kinds of ghosts! Here’s an idea for making a ghost with a big body.
All you need is origami paper and a pen.
The distinctive feature of this idea is that the face and body are different sizes.
Since it’s a big-bodied ghost, you can have fun customizing it by drawing a picture on its belly or adding a child’s photo.
White origami paper is recommended, but making colorful ghosts to decorate your room can be exciting too.
Also, if you create a background with elements like the moon, a castle, or bats to set the mood, it will make your ghost stand out even more!
A ghost made with just five folds

When it comes to big events in October, Halloween is the standout.
Let’s boost the Halloween mood by making a ghost out of origami! Open a sheet folded into a triangle, then, as if you were making the tip of a paper airplane, fold the two sides along the crease.
Next, fold the opposite tip flat, then treat the pointed side as the tail and fold it diagonally.
Finally, flip it over and draw the face and hands, and you’re done! Since there aren’t many intricate steps, it should be easy for kids to learn.
Try making lots of them along with things like origami skeletons!
Ghost that becomes a ring when cut and made
@sachimama_asobi Just fold it four times and cut! Let’s make a ghost wreath 👻 Today I tried making a ghost wreath! Aren’t the little ghosts holding hands in a circle so cute? 🥰 And guess what… there’s a hidden heart 🩶 Can you find it? Fold it four times, draw the faces and bodies, then just cut—so easy 👻 The eye parts are tiny and the paper gets thick after four folds, so it was hard to cut with a craft knife or scissors. But when I tried using a hole punch, it was super easy ✨ Adjusting where to punch the holes is a bit tricky, but if you look from the side while lining it up, you can do it! The expressions change depending on where you punch the holes, which is fun too 🥰 You can also use a craft knife to cut out the eyes. Note: Be careful not to get hurt! If you’re making this with small children, have an adult do the cutting 🥹💕 It’s very easy, so be sure to save this and give it a try 👻 +———————————————+ I’m Sachi-mama, raising three energetic boys ages 8, 6, and 2 ❀ I share simple crafts and play ideas with kids using 100-yen items, natural materials, and recyclables. It’s done by folding four times and cutting! Here’s an idea for making a chain of ghosts by cutting paper.
You’ll need origami paper, a pen, scissors, and a hole punch.
Fold the origami paper four times, then cut it with scissors to create a unique ring of cute ghosts.
Cutting folded paper may require strength or technique, so make sure a teacher or guardian helps.
The finished piece looks great not only on the wall but also decorating a window.
Give it a try!
Ghost chopstick holder

Having handmade items lined up at a Halloween party really lifts the mood, doesn’t it? This origami is a ghost-shaped cutlery case, perfect for setting out forks or chopsticks in a cute way.
Since it’s an adorable ghost with little hands, the key point is to fold the hand parts along the creases.
You can also adjust the size—use smaller or larger origami paper to fit whatever cutlery you’re wrapping, which makes this ghost cutlery case very handy! You could even tuck small candies inside the ghost and give it as a mini gift—it’s sure to be a hit.
