Taka Hirose, the bassist of the British rock band Feeder, is from Hozumi, Gifu Prefecture.
“Find The Colour,” included on their fourth album Comfort in Sound, was used as the theme song for Nissan’s Elgrand commercial.

Shigeru Iwaku, who performed as the blue triangle ruler of the folk group, is from Gifu Prefecture.
The song Season Given by the Sun, which was chosen as the theme for the Nippon TV series Fly Out! Youth, became a huge hit, selling over one million copies.
It was later included in music textbooks for elementary and junior high schools.
1950Kume Yoshimasa / Kume Koji (BLACK CATS)

The brothers Yoshimasa Kume (guitar) and Koji (drums), early members of the Japanese rockabilly band BLACK CATS active in the 1980s–90s, are both from Gifu Prefecture.
The song in this video, “1950,” is included on their first album, CREAM-SODA PRESENTS, released in 1981.

Koroshitai KimochiKohhei Matsuda(Bo Ningen)

Kohhei Matsuda, the guitarist of Bo Ningen—an unconventional band that wields hard rock with Japanese lyrics and is based in the UK—hails from Tajimi City in Gifu Prefecture.
Their song “Koroshitai Kimochi (A Feeling of Wanting to Kill)” was their major-label debut in 2009, released as an EP.
