Hiromi Oikawa is from Hanaizumi, Nishi-Iwai District, Iwate Prefecture (now Ichinoseki City), and this song was released as her debut single in 1994.

It was used as the opening theme for the TBS program “Kaiketsu Dachō Sanjūshi!” and in 2000 she formed the band group SHADE’S and was active with them.

Eiko Hamamori is a singer-songwriter from Ofunato City in Iwate Prefecture, and this song was released in 2011 as a charity project CD for the Great East Japan Earthquake.

The song was used in commercials for the Iwate Trucking Association and For You Networks Co., Ltd., and half of the proceeds have been donated as relief funds to the cities of Rikuzentakata and Ofunato.

This song, Byakuya (White Night), was released in 2011.
