With this song, they won the Newcomer Award at the 23rd Japan Record Awards.
Kitakami Nocturnedaakudakkusu

Mutsuo Ando, the composer of the melancholic Showa-era classic “Kitakami Nocturne,” hails from Taneichi Town (now Hirono Town) in Kunohe District, Iwate Prefecture.
