YUKI, who is the vocalist of the musical duo BENNIE K, is from Kashima City in Saga Prefecture.
Their 9th single, Dreamland, became their biggest hit, and its ringtone download achieved double million status.

Yuri Matsufuji, who was active as part of the two-person music unit Nanamusica, is from Saga Prefecture.
Their second single, “Kururi Kururi,” reached No.
9 on the Oricon Weekly Chart, the group’s highest position.
The title track was used as the theme song for the Fuji TV drama “Kobayakawa Nobuki no Koi.”

The members of Saga Otome Myu☆Star, an idol group based in Saga Prefecture, are all from Saga.
They work to share the charms of Saga with many people.
“Saga We’re Proud Of” is a song that highlights the best of Saga Prefecture.
Two versions of the music video were produced: one focusing on the members and another centered on images of famous sights and specialties of Saga.
To the lovely city of 47Fukuchi Rena (AKB48 Team 8)

Reina Fukuchi, a member of AKB48’s Team 8, is from Saga Prefecture.
She is the only AKB48 member from Saga.
She participates in “47 no Suteki na Machi e,” which is included on the theater edition of the 37th single, “Kokoro no Placard.”
Koijigawa (Koiji River)Hiroyuki Nishikata

Hiroyuki Nishikata, who is active as an enka singer, is from Minato-machi, Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture.
He won the 1st The Star Karaoke Championship held in Saga Prefecture and has appeared as a guest every year from the 2nd event onward.
In 1993, his song “Koijigawa” received the Wired Music Award at the 26th Japan Cable Radio Awards.
