Shinin’ On, You’re SadSuzuki Tooru (moto LOOK)

Tohru Suzuki, formerly the vocalist of LOOK and now a solo artist, is from Kakegawa City in Shizuoka Prefecture.
Suzuki’s very husky voice and striking high notes are captivating, but it’s said he got that way because he cried and screamed so much as a child that he damaged his vocal cords.

KAZUMA, the guitarist of the rock band SIAM SHADE, hails from Nishiizu Town, Kamo District, Shizuoka Prefecture (he was born in Oji, Kita Ward, Tokyo).
Their sixth single, “1/3 no Junjo na Kanjou,” was used as the ending theme for the Fuji TV anime Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story.
I love you ♥Endō Kazuma (moto SIAM SHADE)

Kazuma Endo, the guitarist and vocalist of SIAM SHADE, known for hits like “1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou,” has also been active as a solo artist since 2002 in addition to his work with the band.
He has a powerful, rock-infused singing voice, and in SIAM SHADE he showcases his appeal as a twin vocalist alongside Hideki.
Ah, summer vacation.Maeda Nobuteru (TUBE)

While TUBE’s Nobuteru Maeda is sometimes listed as being from Atsugi City in Kanagawa Prefecture, he was actually born in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
In 2015, Maeda underwent throat surgery, and there were concerns about his recovery, but he continues to be actively involved with TUBE.

Naoki Nokubo of the unit Shuchishin—formed by three people who became popular from the quiz show “Quiz! Hexagon”—is from Iwata City in Shizuoka Prefecture.
During the ‘baka’ (silly) boom, their popularity was tremendous, and they had a major breakthrough with their song of the same name, “Shuchishin.” However, due to troubles with his agency, he has hardly been seen on TV and other media since.
Teenage in GlassKazumi Morohoshi (Hikaru GENJI)

Kazumi Morohoshi, who was a member of the idol group Hikaru GENJI, is from Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
Their second single, “Glass no Jūdai” (Shattered Teen Years), ranked 2nd on Oricon’s 1988 year-end chart.
After Hikaru GENJI disbanded, Morohoshi has continued to work as a singer and actor.

Naoko Ken, who works as a singer and TV personality, is from Amagi-Yugashima Town, Tagata District, Shizuoka Prefecture (now Izu City).
Her 12th single, “Abayo,” won the Vocalist Award at the 18th Japan Record Awards, the Broadcast Music Award at the Japan Kayō Awards, and the Best Kayō Music Award at the FNS Music Festival.
