All members of the rock band POLU, which was active from 2016 to 2019, are from Tokushima Prefecture.
The band was formed to perform Mizuiro, the image song for Bandai Chuo Wharf in Tokushima City, and released four records—a single and three mini-albums.
They also performed live on tour in places like Fukuoka and Tokyo, and appeared at the major music festival MONSTER baSH in 2018.
Incidentally, the vocalist, Junna Maruyama, won the Junior and Senior High School Uniform Champ title on the music program Ongaku Champ.
Imagination never endsToyosaki Aki (Sufia)

Aki Toyosaki, a voice actress and singer from Tokushima Prefecture, formed the voice acting unit Sphere in 2009.
While she has played numerous anime characters—such as Yui Hirasawa in K-On!—she is also active in music both as a solo artist and within the unit.
Sphere has its own signature image colors, with a fun anecdote that they decided them in a karaoke box.
In November 2022, they released a new song for the first time in about a year and three months, strengthening their bonds as members while also valuing their connection with fans.

Chihiro Otsuka, who is active in theatrical fields such as dramas and musicals, is from Tokushima City in Tokushima Prefecture.
In 2007, after debuting as an actress, she released “Koi Hanabi,” for which she herself wrote the lyrics.
She changed her stage name from her initial name, “Chihiro,” to her real name in 2011.
