Eternal SunsetHanbaato Hanbaato

“Eternal Sunset” is a song by the husband-and-wife duo Humbert Humbert, included on their 2018 album “FOLK 2,” released to commemorate their 20th anniversary.
It’s also the only new track on the album.
The lyrics, which depict an elderly man—now with a head of gray hair—reminiscing about the woman he loved in his youth, leave you with a warm feeling as you listen.
Ryosei Sato, who wrote and composed the song, has said that turning 40 enabled him to capture the song’s world.
It’s a track I highly recommend listening to while watching an autumn sunset.
fragrant oliveorenji supainikurabu

When it comes to flowers that symbolize autumn, many people probably think of fragrant olive (kinmokusei).
Its distinctive sweet scent lets you recognize it as “the smell of kinmokusei” even if you can’t see the blossoms.
That fragrance makes you feel the arrival of autumn—and a little sentimental, doesn’t it? Orange Spiny Club’s “Kinmokusei” is packed with that very sentimental mood.
It’s a song that deeply resonates with the way the season shifts from the explosive excitement of summer to the wistful melancholy of autumn.
high skyUMEILO

This song sings of a bittersweet love.
It’s a track by UMEILO, a guitar rock band from Hokkaido, included on their first single released in December 2018.
The lyrics, which depict lingering feelings and memories of a past lover, resonate with the loneliness of autumn.
It’s said to be based on vocalist Junsuke Ito’s real experiences, and you can feel the genuine emotion.
It’s a song you’ll want to listen to on a quiet night as the seasons change.
It will strike a chord with anyone who has experienced heartbreak.
Ms. SeptemberRADWIMPS

A track that leaves an impression with its story-like, abstract lyrics that are so characteristic of vocalist Yojiro Noda.
The gently cascading, wistful lead guitar phrases are perfect for autumn.
It’s also nice to ponder the meaning of the abstract lyrics in your own way.
Starlight ParadeSEKAI NO OWARI

There’s a phrase, “the long autumn nights,” and it’s true that when autumn arrives, we tend to spend more time gazing up at the night sky.
SEKAI NO OWARI’s “Starlight Parade” seems perfect for autumn as a song themed around the stars in that night sky.
Its sparkling sound matches the image of stars, creating a fantastical world.
Leaves of potpourriaimyon

Included on the album “Heard There’s Delicious Pasta,” this song was released in September 2020.
The scent of potpourri awakens the pain and lingering feelings of a broken heart.
As she looks back on the past, the image of a woman slowly trying to move forward comes into view.
Aimyon’s characteristically literary lyrics and the gentle, mellow melody sink deep into the heart.
A track to savor alone on a long autumn night.
It might give you a chance to face those unforgettable memories within you.
