Jock Rock

This song is often played when dramatic comebacks happen, and it’s even called a “cursed” or “bewitched” tune.
Because of Chiben Wakayama High School’s remarkable runs and the strange phenomena associated with it, the song is strongly linked to that school, but of course other schools play it as well, and it seems to have become established as a song that triggers stunning upsets and major turnarounds.
DiamondKobukuro

This song, which became the theme for Nettou Koshien in 2013, grabs your heart right from the opening lyrics, doesn’t it? It’s a cheer for high school baseball players who are steadily working toward their one and only stage.
The powerful, encouraging words make you feel like you can push yourself even harder! The simplest message of support—“Do your best!!”—pierces straight into your heart.

Let’s go, Narashino!Narashino Kōkō Suisōgakubu

This is the original cheer song of Narashino High School in Chiba Prefecture, alma mater of Yakult alum Atsushi Ogawa and Hanshin alum Masayuki Kakefu.
It’s a classic you often hear during high school baseball cheering scenes! It was composed in 1975 by Yoshihiro Nezu, who was the brass band captain at the time.
The so-called “bibakuon” — a beautifully explosive sound — really gets your spirits soaring! The steady rhythm—don, don, dododon—feels great, and the flowing melody and power seem capable of changing the momentum of a game.
This masterpiece has been passed down and loved for a long time, so much so that it played during numerous remarkable winning streaks.
One moreFUNKY MONKEY BABYS

Released in 2010, the song was chosen as the cheer song for the 92nd National High School Baseball Championship in the summer.
The cover features a close-up of Masahiro Tanaka, who was with the Rakuten Eagles at the time.
It has since been used as a TV theme and as entrance music for baseball players.
OmoidamaKanjani∞

This is a song by Kanjani Eight that was chosen as the theme for Nettou Koshien in 2014.
The lyrics are packed with themes of striving toward a dream stage, facing setbacks, and gratitude toward those who support you.
Even if you practice and train hard aiming for Koshien, there will surely be times when things don’t go well.
But this is a reassuring track that gives you a push, telling you that all that effort will never go to waste.
RPGSEKAI NO OWARI

SEKAI NO OWARI’s songs are characterized by a bright, refreshing feel with themes of friendship, bonds, and adventure.
This work was released in May 2013 as the theme song for the film “Crayon Shin-chan: Very Tasty! B-Class Gourmet Survival!!”.
Its marching-forward, powerful tempo is striking, and the lyrics, which encourage you to move ahead without fear, are a perfect fit for sports scenes.
The arrangement consciously evokes a march, with inventive touches in the sound such as bass drum and hand cymbals.
The lyrics, depicting a resolve to aim for a new destination together, also make it suitable as a fight song for team sports.
Dear…TSUNAMI

A passionate, fast-paced sound that shakes the listener’s soul resonates in your chest.
The fervor of the ballplayers single-mindedly chasing the white ball and the irreplaceable moments shared with their teammates vividly come back to life.
Featured on the single “Taiyo/Dear…” released in August 1997, this song served as the theme for TV Asahi/ABC’s “Netto Koshien,” heightening the emotion of countless memorable scenes.
When you want to awaken memories of summer, or when you want to cheer on someone giving their all, it will surely be there by your side.
