Let's go, Narashino!Narashino Kōkō Suisōgakubu

This is the original cheer song of Narashino High School in Chiba Prefecture, alma mater of Yakult alum Atsushi Ogawa and Hanshin alum Masayuki Kakefu.

It’s a classic you often hear during high school baseball cheering scenes! It was composed in 1975 by Yoshihiro Nezu, who was the brass band captain at the time.

The so-called “bibakuon” — a beautifully explosive sound — really gets your spirits soaring! The steady rhythm—don, don, dododon—feels great, and the flowing melody and power seem capable of changing the momentum of a game.

This masterpiece has been passed down and loved for a long time, so much so that it played during numerous remarkable winning streaks.

bullseyeYamamoto Rinda

This is Linda Yamamoto’s “Neraiuchi.” You might have heard a cheer version with the lyrics changed to “Ute yo, ute yo, ute ute yo!” It’s the perfect song for when you want a targeted hit.

If a powerful crowd fills the Alps stands and belts out this cheer, it’s sure to boost the morale of the batter at the plate! And if a hit comes here, the excitement will be through the roof! Just imagining it is thrilling.

Don’t forget the final signature line: “If you don’t get the hit, who will?!”

RPGSEKAI NO OWARI

SEKAI NO OWARI’s songs are characterized by a bright, refreshing feel with themes of friendship, bonds, and adventure.

This work was released in May 2013 as the theme song for the film “Crayon Shin-chan: Very Tasty! B-Class Gourmet Survival!!”.

Its marching-forward, powerful tempo is striking, and the lyrics, which encourage you to move ahead without fear, are a perfect fit for sports scenes.

The arrangement consciously evokes a march, with inventive touches in the sound such as bass drum and hand cymbals.

The lyrics, depicting a resolve to aim for a new destination together, also make it suitable as a fight song for team sports.

This song, powerfully sung by Dai Hirai, carries a strong message of encouragement.

You can almost feel the heat of summer from its sound and atmosphere.

It was selected as the 2022 summer high school baseball cheer song and as the theme for Nettō Kōshien.

The gentle, airy sound evokes an image of looking back on memories just before taking on a new challenge.

The lyrics, which seem to center on the theme of dreams, are memorable as well—affirming the effort put into reaching for those dreams and speaking to the hope that lies ahead.

While it has a gentle feel, the song also conveys strength, leaving the impression that it stirs the courage needed to seize one’s dreams.
