CHERRIES WERE MADE FOR EATINGBRAHMAN

This is a punk cover of Godiego’s “Kimi wa Koi no Cherry.” It’s only natural that the start-and-stop across all the instruments is tight because it’s a recording, but even so, the way it freely moves between eighth-note and two-beat feels is exciting to listen to.

It can be described as a track that condenses BRAHMAN’s musical essence.

It features hardcore punk infused with elements of ethnic music, imbued with deep emotion and a powerful message.

This work is included on the album “Chōkoku,” released in February 2013.

It’s also included on the live DVD/Blu-ray “Chōkoku the OCTAGON.” TOSHI-LOW’s lyrics delve into the fragility of life and the beauty and hope discovered within it, resonating deeply with listeners.

They express a remembrance of what has been lost, as well as hope for renewal and new beginnings that visit us time and again throughout life.

NO LIGHT THEORYBRAHMAN

A song by BRAHMAN included on the album “A MAN OF THE WORLD.” Released on September 1, 1998.

All lyrics are in English.

The lyrics question one’s outlook on life: “What is your duty? What do you find value in?” It’s a high-tempo track with driving, relentless guitar that sounds awesome.

Released on February 8, 2008, it’s included as the 10th track on the fourth album, “ANTINOMY.” The heart-wrenching lyrics paired with the guitar’s clean tone evoke an indescribable feeling.

Handan’s pillowBRAHMAN

It’s a hard rock number that kicks off with rhythmic drums.

The contrast between the mellow, emotive sections and the fast-paced, driving parts is fascinating.

It was released in 2007 as the third single, “Handan’s pillow/Gyakko.” You can really feel the raw, passionate emotions—as if the song itself is a direct cry from the soul.

Toki-no-Kane (Time Bell)BRAHMAN

ETERNAL RECURRENCE, BRAHMAN’s fifth album, released on June 10, 2009.

This song is the eleventh track.

The melody played by the guitar and drums seems to seep with the feelings of a clumsy human being.

A song of a person who has been beaten down and sunk in grief.
