Included on their 6th full album, “Transcendence.” This work uses live performance footage straight as the music video.

It begins with the words, “Spilling out and disappearing.” From the band all jumping in together, they attack fiercely and blast through to the very end.

CHERRIES WERE MADE FOR EATINGBRAHMAN

This is a punk cover of Godiego’s “Kimi wa Koi no Cherry.” It’s only natural that the start-and-stop across all the instruments is tight because it’s a recording, but even so, the way it freely moves between eighth-note and two-beat feels is exciting to listen to.

semblance; likeness; a remembered image (often of a departed person)BRAHMAN

This work is included on the album “Chokaku” and was released in February 2013.

You can also hear it on the live DVD/Blu-ray “Chokaku the OCTAGON.” The lyrics delve into the fragility of life and the beauty and hope found within it, resonating deeply with listeners.

They express a remembrance of what has been lost, as well as the cycles of renewal and new beginnings that visit us repeatedly throughout life.

It got off to a strong start, debuting at No.

4 on the Oricon charts.

This track is the sixth song on the album.

With a somewhat Western-style feel, its laid-back tempo makes for a very cool tune.

PLACEBOBRAHMAN

Set to a triple-time rhythm, it sounds bright at first listen, but there’s a certain shadow in the melody and chord progression, isn’t there? It’s a song vocalist TOSHI-LOW wrote for a friend who passed away, included on their third album, THE MIDDLE WAY.

The lyrics were written by overlaying a childhood friend who disappeared with a friend in the present, and they convey the bittersweetness behind the fun and the feeling of not wanting it to end.

With vocals that are powerful yet tinged with sadness and emptiness, it’s a track that resonates deeply—one you should listen to at least once.

Released on February 8, 2008, it’s included as the 10th track on the fourth album, “ANTINOMY.” The heart-wrenching lyrics paired with the guitar’s clean tone evoke an indescribable feeling.

It’s also a phrase that would make any guitar-loving kid want to cover it.
