Included on the sixth full album, “Chōkoku” (Transcendence), released two years after the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011.

On this album, which features lyrics entirely in Japanese, this song is mostly a ballad—the chorus turns intense—creating a mysterious piece where gentleness and sorrow, melancholy and hope sit side by side.

Released on February 6, 2008, ANTINOMY is BRAHMAN’s fourth album, which made a strong debut at No.

4 on the Oricon charts.

This track is the fourth song on the album.

A cool piece with lyrics entirely in English, it features an urban, modern guitar accompaniment that sounds incredibly stylish.

Bed Space RequiemBRAHMAN

Released on June 27, 2001, BRAHMAN’s second album, “A FORLORN HOPE.” This song is included as the final track.

With lyrics entirely in English, it sings of a sense of loneliness left behind.

A beautiful hardcore punk track with a catchy melody!

WE ARE HEREBRAHMAN & EGO-WRAPPIN’

At first glance it’s an unusual—and even dreamlike—combination, but the distinctive strengths of both as live bands are firmly fused in the final result.

ANTINOMY, the fourth album by BRAHMAN, was released on February 6, 2008.

It made a strong start, debuting at No.

4 on the Oricon charts.

This track is the eighth song on that album.

Punk rock that just runs! Runs! A one-track sprint.

The effortless vibe is cool.

BOXBRAHMAN

A Forlorn Hope, BRAHMAN’s second album, was released on June 27, 2001.

It was their first album on a major label.

On the Oricon album chart, it reached a peak position of No.

2 for the week and sold over 800,000 copies.

This track conveys ideas of the “golden mean” and “ascetic practice,” expressed in BRAHMAN’s own words and sung entirely in English.

SHADOW PLAYBRAHMAN

This is a track included on their second album, “A Forlorn Hope.” The sharp, incisive Japanese lyrics seem to speak directly to our hearts.

It’s a unique depth that English lyrics can’t quite capture.

The moment in the B-melody where the flame flickers as if the candle is about to be blown out helps build up to the chorus.
