BRAHMAN’s classic and popular songs (41–50)
Handan’s pillowBRAHMAN

It’s a hard rock number that kicks off with rhythmic drums.
The contrast between the mellow, emotive sections and the fast-paced, driving parts is fascinating.
It was released in 2007 as the third single, “Handan’s pillow/Gyakko.” You can really feel the raw, passionate emotions—as if the song itself is a direct cry from the soul.
Silent dayBRAHMAN

This piece is included on the album Antinomy, released in February 2008.
While touching on lost reunions and forgotten promises, it portrays inner conflict and self-reflection.
Along with TOSHI-LOW’s vocals, it reminds us of the importance of looking inward amid the silence.
Give it a listen and take some time to face yourself.
THE SAMEBRAHMAN

This song, with its walking bass that sticks in your ears, is included on the fifth album, ETERNAL RECURRENCE, released in 2009.
The contrast between the somewhat “cute” feeling in the first half and the hard-hitting chorus really works.
It’s a hard rock number packed to the brim with energetic passion.
alertnessBRAHMAN

Starting with a thrilling intro that makes you feel the energy of anger, “Keisei” is included on their fifth full-length album, “Chokatsu,” released in 2013.
It’s also a track that absolutely explodes live, with mosh dives breaking out all over! I can picture TOSHI-LOW diving onto the crowd and singing while getting jostled around.
I hope you listen to it when you’re raging about something and let it clear your head! Be sure to check out the music video, too—a collaboration with Muneto Ashizawa.
SpeculationBRAHMAN

Included on the 4th album “ANTINOMY.” The music video features a distinctive production centered on white, with geometric patterns and performance unfolding throughout.
The driving, fast-paced cutting is incredibly cool.
At live shows, geometric patterns are projected onto a curtain, recreating a world much like the MV.
Toki-no-Kane (Time Bell)BRAHMAN

ETERNAL RECURRENCE, BRAHMAN’s fifth album, released on June 10, 2009.
This song is the eleventh track.
The melody played by the guitar and drums seems to seep with the feelings of a clumsy human being.
A song of a person who has been beaten down and sunk in grief.
distant countryBRAHMAN

Transcendence, BRAHMAN’s fifth album, released on February 20, 2013.
It got off to a strong start, debuting at No.
4 on the Oricon chart.
This track is the seventh song on the album.
It’s a number distinguished by its driving, exhilarating sound.
The electric guitar tones that seem to cut through the pitch-black darkness in the middle of the song are striking.
