Blue Light Yokohamakurisu haato

This is a commercial highlighting the taste of Calpis Light Blue, which contains no sugar.
Masami Nagasawa appears while singing a parody of Ayumi Ishida’s signature 1968 hit “Blue Light Yokohama,” showing a surprised expression at its light flavor and the fact that it doesn’t use sugar.
When Nagasawa says, “Wait, there’s no sugar in this?” Chris Hart appears and replies, “That’s right.” It turns out the parody song we’d been hearing was actually sung by Chris Hart.
Many viewers were likely captivated by his mellow, deeply sensual voice.
Shine We Are!BoA

“Shine We Are!/Earthsong” is BoA’s 10th single, released in 2003.
It has both Japanese and Korean versions, with the Korean version’s lyrics written by BoA herself.
The songs were used in commercials for Calpis Water and Amino Calpis.
I want to become the wind.

The catchphrase used as the commercial’s title, “A taste that can only make good faces,” is really wonderful, isn’t it? In the video, there’s a scene where Ms.
Nagasawa comes home from work with a suitcase, quickly changes into loungewear, and drinks Calpis.
The impression of Ms.
Nagasawa’s refreshed expression, which seems to link with Calpis’s crisp, refreshing flavor, really stands out.
For the BGM, a choral rendition of THE BOOM’s signature song “Kaze ni Naritai” is used.
Released in 1995, this track has been featured in various commercials over the years, in addition to Calpis.
It’s an exhilarating song that makes you feel as if you could ride the wind and fly through the sky.

This is a series of commercials showing Mei Nagano and Shinya Kote enjoying Calpis.
In the “Lemon” version, Kote introduces Calpis Water Lemon to Nagano.
Meanwhile, in the “Beach” and “Mascot Costume Part-time Job” versions, Kote is in situations where he can’t drink Calpis right away—buried in sand or working inside a mascot suit—watching Nagano sip her Calpis deliciously with a look of envy.
At the end of the commercials, the two of them are shown drinking Calpis together in a refreshing scene.
The BGM for these commercials features Official HIGE DANDism’s “Parabola,” whose typically breezy melody is paired with lyrics that feel like a cheer for new beginnings.
Listening to it lifts your spirits and makes you feel positive.
fateMr.Children

This commercial, which aired in 2015, mainly features seaside visuals that match Calpis’s refreshing image.
The ad stars actress Yuina Kuroshima and actor Sotaro Suzuki.
Mr.Children’s “Unmei” is used as the background music, and its sparkling sound matches the visuals perfectly.
Watching a commercial like this really makes you feel that summer and Calpis are a wonderful combination.
I want to become the wind.

This is a heartwarming commercial that captures the youthful vibe of high school girls chatting on their way home.
The protagonist, played by Ami Toma, looks a bit down, as if something is bothering her.
Then a friend grabs her cheeks and cheerfully tells her, “Don’t get all gloomy!” In the next cut, the scene shifts to everyone smiling and chatting while drinking Calpis, highlighting the girls’ friendship and the idea that Calpis is always close by during youth.
The background music features the familiar Calpis CM song ‘Kaze ni Naritai.’ In this ad, a choral version is used, and the clear, refreshing vocals match the visuals perfectly.

This commercial, which depicts the feelings of students absorbed in their club activities, is part of Calpis’s Club Support Project.
The ad unfolds mainly through illustrations portraying a variety of clubs, from athletic to cultural, and each image radiates the sparkle of student youth.
The background music is Aimyon’s “Lucky Color,” a track from her album “Jealous of the Cat,” released in September 2024.
The song charmingly portrays a woman’s sincere, unspoken feelings of love, and it’s crafted in Aimyon’s signature bright and catchy style.
