Popular Characters (41–50)

Dokin-chan

[Origami] How to fold Dokin-chan, an Anpanman character
Dokin-chan

Dokin-chan is a popular character from the Anpanman series.

She’s a girl who’s an ally of Baikinman, and her unique charm comes from her playful mischief and her crush on Shokupanman.

Let’s make an origami model inspired by her cute look.

All you need is a single sheet of orange origami paper—that’s the key point.

The initial steps are simple, but the folds for her horn-like features, which are a distinctive part of her face, get a bit more complex.

Fold the face so the back side of the paper shows on the front, then draw her expression with a pen to finish.

Anpanman

[Origami] Anpanman ☆ Easy, with voice guide | Origami Anpanman
Anpanman

Anpanman is a character everyone loves.

He’s made of sweet bean bread, and every time he helps someone in need, he offers his own face.

Since it’s a children’s anime, Anpanman has always been someone kids look up to.

Let’s make Anpanman with origami.

His face is round, so start by folding a circular shape.

Then make the nose and cheeks with origami and glue them on.

Finally, draw the eyes and mouth to complete Anpanman.

Keeping it as a little charm for when you’re in trouble might lift your spirits.

Tsum Tsum Mickey

Origami folding instructions – Character [Easy Tsum Tsum Mickey]: How to fold Mickey
Tsum Tsum Mickey

Let’s make Mickey from the popular mobile game “Tsum Tsum”! The Disney characters are adorably deformed in Tsum Tsum, with their cute round shapes.

To make Mickey, you’ll use a total of five sheets of origami: one for the head, two for the ears, one for the face, and one for the hands.

Prepare smaller origami sheets for the ears and hands.

Once each part is folded, attach them with glue or tape.

Finally, draw Mickey’s eyes and nose to finish! Try making other Tsums as well.

Zenitsu Agatsuma

[Demon Slayer] Let's make Zenitsu & Chuntaro with origami 🎵
Zenitsu Agatsuma

Let’s fold Zenitsu Agatsuma, whose signature features are his yellow and orange hair, using origami.

Fold up the two bottom corners, then fold the newly made corners slightly upward to form the face.

Draw the eyes and eyebrows with colored pens.

When folding the hair, the key is to create a jagged, cut-edge look to capture its distinctive style.

Add the orange hair color with colored pens.

Next, after folding the torso, attach the haori (jacket) and draw the triangular pattern with a felt-tip pen.

Finally, attach the face to the torso to complete it.

Try making Zenitsu—he may be timid, but his Thunder Breathing is super cool!

Nezuko Kamado

[OriGaMi] Origami Demon Slayer Nezuko origami - Intermediate Level - Origami fun for everyone from kids to adults – Demon Slayer –
Nezuko Kamado

Let’s make Nezuko Kamado—one of the most beloved characters—out of origami! For this, you’ll use a total of seven sheets: one 7.5 cm × 7.5 cm sheet in light orange, one in pink, one in black; one 15 cm × 15 cm sheet in red and one in black; plus one 3.75 cm × 3.75 cm sheet in pink and one in green.

It’s also helpful to have red round stickers and small white round stickers on hand—you can layer them to create the eyes.

The hair will be expressed by layering black and red, so be careful with how you make the cuts and the direction you fold the tips of the hair.
