Popular Chinese singers and artists active in the Chinese-speaking world [C-POP] (41–50)
Arborescent Lone Bird feat. Wu BaiJo Ka Ei (Rara Sū)

Lala Hsu is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter born in 1984.
Although she has had a long career, she appeared in Season 4 of the music show “I Am a Singer” in 2016.
In 2020, she also appeared on the popular program “Singer: The Year of the Hits,” further boosting her popularity.
She has various ties to Japan: the music videos for Gray and Words Beyond My Control were filmed in Nagano Prefecture, and her signature song The Lost Sandbar has been covered by SEVENTEEN’s Jun and Sayuri Sugawara.
Biu BiuLiu Yuxin

Liu Yuxin, who has produced many cool tracks and enjoys immense support, is the artist in question.
She rose to fame through a girls’ group audition program.
Since then, she has performed in two girl groups and also made her solo debut.
Her solo songs have an even cooler, more stylish feel.
Be sure to enjoy them along with her razor-sharp dance moves.
It’s also worth noting that she is active as an actress and model.
Thank you for having been here.Ayo97 & A Han

A fantasy-tinged track released in February 2019.
While it falls into the heartbreak-song category, it isn’t straightforward—its lyrics are abstract, full of phrasing that’s a bit removed from reality.
You can kind of sense that from the cover art, right? Is the original motif Assassin’s Creed, perhaps? It’s a ballad leaning toward rap, and I think that makes it approachable for Japanese listeners.
One Song of Yearninghan’yō

Would it be something like what we call an enka singer in Japan? He’s a singer who specializes in traditional Chinese popular songs.
The backing sound is also crafted in a classic style, and as of 2019, despite his young age, he has been creating works with a classical approach.
Among them, this song is a particular hit.
He was born on October 11, 1993, in Huludao, Liaoning Province.
Wishing you peace.Sun Yue

Sun Yue, who has a background as a former literary and art soldier in the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.
This song was first released as an independently produced CD and became her springboard to a major-label debut.
It’s an encouraging song that says, “Life can be tough, but don’t give up.
I’m praying for your happiness.” She sings in a slightly husky voice, gently as if speaking to you, and it’s very soothing to listen to when you’re tired.
Bloody Love StoryChō Emika

A-Mei (Chang Hui-mei), affectionately known as A-Mei and famed for both her powerful vocals and beauty.
The music video for this song, released under her alter ego Amit (AMIT), comes with a serious viewer discretion warning! It depicts an excessively intense love-hate drama between a man and a woman who, out of love, end up hurting and killing each other.
Amid a raging storm, Amit appears as a ‘goddess’ witnessing it all, and, true to the song’s title, the scenes are portrayed as blood-soaked as a horror film.
Promising Youth: If I Were YoungRi Ronhao (Rī Ronhao)

Li Ronghao is a singer-songwriter born in 1985 who also works as an actor.
He’s a melodist who composed Joker Xue’s “Ugly” (“Chou Ba Guai”), and his sweet vocals are especially appealing.
His songs blend a distinctly Chinese atmosphere with the smoothness of R&B, making them very accessible and great for first-time listeners.
His small, narrow eyes are also memorable and charming! He’s a multifaceted artist who not only creates music but also produces his own music videos.
In 2019, he made headlines for marrying Taiwanese actress-singer Rainie Yang.
