Khalil Fong is an R&B singer-songwriter from Hawaii who has been active in recent years in Hong Kong.

He was born in 1983.

Influenced by his father, a professional drummer, he grew up close to music and names Stevie Wonder and John Mayer among his favorite artists.

In his song “Noodles (麵麵),” the music video shows him cooking nonstop, revealing a comical side with charmingly playful sounds.

Most of his work has a stylish, mellow vibe, so he’s recommended for those who enjoy that kind of music!

Thank you for having been here.Ayo97 & A Han

A fantasy-tinged track released in February 2019.

While it falls into the heartbreak-song category, it isn’t straightforward—its lyrics are abstract, full of phrasing that’s a bit removed from reality.

You can kind of sense that from the cover art, right? Is the original motif Assassin’s Creed, perhaps? It’s a ballad leaning toward rap, and I think that makes it approachable for Japanese listeners.

A-Mei (Chang Hui-mei), affectionately known as A-Mei and famed for both her powerful vocals and beauty.

The music video for this song, released under her alter ego Amit (AMIT), comes with a serious viewer discretion warning! It depicts an excessively intense love-hate drama between a man and a woman who, out of love, end up hurting and killing each other.

Amid a raging storm, Amit appears as a ‘goddess’ witnessing it all, and, true to the song’s title, the scenes are portrayed as blood-soaked as a horror film.

Li Ronghao is a singer-songwriter born in 1985 who also works as an actor.

He’s a melodist who composed Joker Xue’s “Ugly” (“Chou Ba Guai”), and his sweet vocals are especially appealing.

His songs blend a distinctly Chinese atmosphere with the smoothness of R&B, making them very accessible and great for first-time listeners.

His small, narrow eyes are also memorable and charming! He’s a multifaceted artist who not only creates music but also produces his own music videos.

In 2019, he made headlines for marrying Taiwanese actress-singer Rainie Yang.

The person causing a big buzz on social media with comments like “What a beautiful singing voice” is Ms.

Wang Youxiu.

She usually teaches music at a junior high school and, on the side, had been posting singing videos on TikTok.

Then, starting in 2022, her videos began to spread rapidly by word of mouth, and her popularity took off.

A distinctive feature of the songs she creates is that they depict the beautiful scenes found in fleeting moments of everyday life.

As you listen, pay attention not only to her voice, but also to that aspect of her music.
