Magnets in Christmas-themed shapes can become lovely ornaments that brighten up your room even after the holiday season.

Cut out air-dry clay with cookie cutters, let it dry, and then paint it to easily create shapes like Christmas trees and wreaths.

Instead of varnish, try brushing on diluted glue to give it a glossy finish.

Finally, attach a magnet with glue, and you’ll have a finished magnet you can stick on your fridge and more!

Mole tree and pom-pom snowman

[100-Yen DIY] How to Make a Chenille (Pipe Cleaner) Tree and Pom-Pom Snowman 🎄⛄️ Christmas Tree & Snowman
Mole tree and pom-pom snowman

These mascots—a tree made from chenille stems (pipe cleaners) and a pom‑pom snowman—evoke the joy of winter.

Cut construction paper into a circle, snip it, roll it into a cone, and shape it into a tree.

Glue on the chenille stems so the base paper doesn’t show, and the tree base is done.

Then freely add beads and other decorations to create a festive tree.

The snowman is simple: shape pom‑pom balls, stack two of them, and glue together.

Use yarn to add a scarf and facial features to finish.

Attach a piece of thick cardstock to the bottom so it can stand next to the tree.

It’s best to plan the size balance with an eye to which you want to emphasize more—the tree or the snowman.

Party hats made from wrapping paper

Let's make Christmas hats with wrapping paper
Party hats made from wrapping paper

One of the main events of Christmas is exchanging gifts, right? In most cases, the presents are cutely decorated with wrapping paper.

What do you do with that wrapping paper? Some people may end up throwing it away because they can’t find a use for it.

That’s why I’d like to share an idea: making party hats out of wrapping paper.

You just fold it up and it’s done, so give it a try.

By the way, you can also make small hats and put them on stuffed animals for extra fun.

Star ornament

#4 Easy Paper ‘Star Folding’ Decor for Your Room: Christmas Ornaments
Star ornament

Here’s an idea for a star ornament you can use for Christmas and more.

Take a square sheet of construction paper, fold it in half to make a crease—do this step twice—then fold it four more times and cut with scissors to form a pentagon.

Open the paper and make slits; fold it again and cut along the slits to quickly transform it into a star shape.

Alternate mountain and valley folds along the creases to create a three-dimensional star ornament.

Add a loop to hang it, and it’s perfect not only for a tree ornament but also as a wall decoration!

First, cut the cardboard to create the shape of a Christmas tree.
