Christmas decorations with paper plates

Let’s decorate plain white paper plates and make a festive Christmas ornament! First, paint the rim of the plate green on the back side.
Prepare three triangles cut from green and light green construction paper, and a rectangle cut from brown construction paper.
Using a Christmas tree as the motif, attach the pieces to the inside of the flipped paper plate.
After adding a star made from gold origami paper to the top, the tree itself is complete.
For decorations, add yarn, thread, or pipe cleaners to make it more festive.
Add embellishments to the reel section as well, and attach a ribbon to the top of the paper plate to finish.
It’s a craft that brings out your child’s creativity—give it a try!
Snowman made with a plastic pot and yarn
This is a cute snowman craft made using a small plastic lactic-acid drink pot, cotton, and yarn.
Wrap the plastic pot with cotton and glue it in place with a hot glue gun.
Trim any excess cotton and cover the whole surface, then add parts like a scarf and knit hat made from yarn.
Finally, attach parts for the eyes, nose, and buttons, and you’ll have an irresistibly adorable miniature snowman.
It’s also fun to make several and display them together.
Santa Claus ornament

Let’s make a Santa Claus ornament that can also decorate your Christmas tree! First, cut thick paper to form a cone like a Christmas tree and assemble it.
Then use a hot glue gun to attach red and white felt to create Santa’s outfit, face, and beard.
Add a string so it can be hung on a Christmas tree, and you’re done! If you’re making these at a Christmas party, preparing small parts like the face and beard by pre-cutting them will help the process go smoothly.
Felt braided wreath

A Christmas wreath you can easily make using felt.
Prepare three long, thin strips of felt.
It’s fine to use the same color for all three, but changing the color of just one strip is also recommended.
Gather the three strips and secure one end with a safety pin, then simply braid them together.
Once you’ve braided to the other end, use a safety pin and some yarn to attach the ends to each other.
Finally, add decorations like a ribbon or bells and a string for hanging, and you’re done! You can also add beads or pieces of felt cut into your favorite shapes to create a bright and cute wreath.
Garland with tape

Garlands are a classic decoration for walls and doors at Christmas parties.
With just lily-of-the-valley tape (raffia-style ribbon) or mirror tape, it’s an easy craft to try.
Wrap the tape around cardboard or a similar base, shape it into a circle, and set it aside.
Next, use the raffia tape to wrap and tie the piece you just made.
Trim off any excess, then cut the tape into thin strips.
Attach a star to the top, thread it with string, and your festive garland is complete.
Try using red and green tapes to add a Christmas feel.
