Christmas Crafts to Enjoy with Kids: Stylish and Easy Ideas (51–60)
Easy Advent Calendar with 100-Yen Store Materials

This is an Advent calendar with small paper bags lined up for each date you’ll count down.
Each bag is tied with a ribbon-like string, and untying the string to check what’s inside builds excitement for Christmas.
Once you’ve filled the small paper bags, arrange them snugly in a box and close it with a lid to finish.
Add a window to the lid so the bags inside are visible.
Since both the bags and the box are made from kraft paper, it’s important to create a festive Christmas feel with the numbers drawn on the bags and decorations on the box and lid, so the overall look doesn’t end up too plain.
Christmas tree-shaped box

How about a Christmas tree–shaped gift box that’s fun to decorate? First, cut a milk carton a little below the halfway point and open up the top part.
Cut it into a jagged, tree-like shape and trace that onto green construction paper.
Glue the pieces together to form the tree.
Next, cover the lower part of the carton with light green construction paper.
Then have fun decorating the tree—glue on sequins or pipe cleaners, or draw with crayons.
Glue the box portion and the tree together to finish.
You can put small gifts or trinkets inside and enjoy it for a long time!
Christmas boot ornament

Handmade boots that can be used as ornaments or garlands for a Christmas tree.
They’re easy to make with just a few steps, so it’s a great activity to try with kids.
Make the boot-shaped bag by taping an OPP bag after cutting slits, then fill it with crumpled tissue paper.
Add white cotton up to the top of the bag and tape it closed.
Decorate with ribbons and pom-poms, attach a looped twist tie, and you’re done.
It’s a fun boot idea that you can customize with different tissue paper colors and decorative parts.
Christmas board

How about making a Christmas board that’s perfect for displaying in your room or entryway? You can create a Christmas-themed piece by attaching various materials to a wooden board.
If you’d like to make a Christmas tree, we recommend using decoration parts like wood sheets, green moss, small ornaments, and beads.
Using similar materials, you can also make a wreath on the wooden board.
Adding message-style stickers such as “Merry Christmas” is a stylish touch! It’s perfect for times when you can’t put up large decorations like a tree but still want to bring in a festive Christmas feel.
Christmas lantern

How about making a Christmas lantern to brighten up your Christmas night with vivid colors? First, cut a clear sheet so that, when assembled, it forms a cone like a Christmas tree.
Draw your favorite designs on it with a pen, then add color by sticking on cellophane.
We recommend combining various colors of cellophane.
Once your drawing is done and the clear sheet is shaped into a cone, the base is complete! Put a light of your choice inside, and you’ll have a sparkling lantern.
If you choose a light color that pairs well with the colors of the cellophane you used, both the artwork and the colors will really stand out!
