Mini tree with a glue gun

Let’s try making a small, cute Christmas tree using a hot glue gun! First, roll a piece of construction paper into a cone so it looks like a Christmas tree.

Then cover it with parchment paper to create the base.

On that base, use the hot glue gun to draw any patterns you like! Waves, checkered designs—just make sure the patterns are shaped so the tree can stand on its own once the base is removed.

After the hot glue hardens, remove the construction paper and parchment, and paint it with your favorite color of nail polish.

Adding beads or other decorations is also recommended! It already looks lovely, but if you place a light inside the tree so it glows, it will be even more dazzling!

How about making a Christmas wreath using scraps from masks and wire or colored cord you can find at a 100-yen shop? First, use the wire to make a ring about 18 cm in diameter.

Next, wrap the colored cord around the wire again and again.

Tie the beginning and end together, then make another small loop and tie it to form a handle.

After that, tie on your favorite fabric scraps or ribbons over the cord.

Finally, round off the ends with scissors or adjust the length of the scraps.

Adding wire-made ribbons and other decorations will make the wreath even more festive.

These felt Christmas stockings are perfect as ornaments for your tree or as interior decor! A charming idea you can hand-sew without using a sewing machine.

It’s more efficient to make a template first and cut the felt accordingly.

Sew on the felt pieces, add decorations like embroidery, make a second identical piece, and stitch them together with a blanket stitch to finish! Have fun customizing by changing felt color combinations or using ribbons, beads, and sequins.

Slip in candies or chocolates, and they’ll make delightful casual Christmas gifts.

Christmas tree of Lamemole and Seal

How about using glitter pipe cleaners and decorative stickers from the 100-yen shop to make a festive wall-mounted Christmas tree? First, apply glue to a green equilateral-triangle base and sprinkle on small pieces of tissue paper.

Next, add a brown trunk and wrap a sparkly pipe cleaner around from the top.

It works well to secure it from the back with tape or staple the folded-over sections.

Do the same with another pipe cleaner from the opposite side.

After that, stick on the stickers however you like.

Finish by adding a star, and it’s done.

It’s great because even small children can have fun making their own original tree.

star-shaped gift box

star-shaped gift box

This is a star-shaped gift box that would make a great present box and could also work as an ornament.

You can make it using craft paper sold at 100-yen shops and similar stores.

Use a compass to draw a regular pentagon on the craft paper, then connect the points to draw a star inside it.

Next, draw another regular pentagon on the outside so that its corners overlap the first pentagon, and connect the inner pentagon’s corners with their diagonals.

All the lines you’ve drawn will be fold lines, so lightly score them with a craft knife to make folding easier.

After that, assemble everything, and your star-shaped gift box is complete.

Decorating the outside with origami paper or similar materials will give it an even more festive look!
