Domestic circuit events [2026] City festival list

Jaiga is a popular summer festival held in Osaka every year. This time, it’s being held as the second installment of a spin-off event. Unlike the first installment, THE BONDS -AMAZING OSAKA-, this one takes a circuit-style format across several live houses. While preserving the signature Jaiga vibe that brings together bands from a wide range of genres like rock and pop, the spin-off’s appeal lies in offering a more intense, up-close experience of the artists’ performances.

The Shimamoto Music Festival is held in Shimamoto, Mishima District, Osaka Prefecture, and is a long-standing music festival organized by the Shimamoto Town Chamber of Commerce Youth Division. Many artists perform, including band performances, wind ensemble performances, and acoustic singer-songwriters. At the same time, local shops and vendors in Shimamoto host food and merchandise stalls as well as a flea market. Be sure to stop by!

As its name suggests, the Takatsuki Jazz Street is a citywide jazz festival; last year, performances took place at over 50 venues around Hankyu Takatsuki-shi Station and JR Takatsuki Station. Events like this, with stages scattered throughout the city, fill every corner with music and create a delightful sense of stepping out of the everyday. Another big draw is that admission is free, making it easy to join in.
