hummingIkuta Rira

This is a song whose gentle melody and uplifting lyrics resonate deeply.
It was released digitally in June 2024 as the new theme song for Fuji TV’s “Mezamashi Doyoubi.” Rira Ikuta’s clear, translucent voice rings pleasantly in the quiet of the morning.
The song carries a message that accompanies all kinds of morning beginnings—whether you’re enjoying a day off or heading to work.
When you want to take a breather during a busy morning, why not start your new day with this track?
Horse and deerYonezu Kenshi

The BPM is around 90, so it’s on the slightly slower side, but I highly recommend this song by Kenshi Yonezu because its structure fits the criteria perfectly.
It opens with palm-muted guitar, vocals, and a touch of a simple beat, creating a very restrained sound.
Then, in the chorus, the strings and a solid beat join in all at once, and Yonezu’s vocals heat up.
This track was also used as the theme song for the rugby-themed drama “No Side Game,” and it’s popular as a cheer song as well.
I think it could help you start your morning feeling refreshed and clear-headed.
Have a nice dayNishino Kana

The theme song selected for Fuji TV’s Mezamashi TV is Kana Nishino’s “Have a nice day.” It’s the lead track from her 2016 album “Just LOVE,” which reached No.
1 on the Oricon chart.
The lyrics, which depict a girl’s hectic morning moments, are utterly charming.
The brisk, up-tempo feel and the alarm clock sound used as an effect make it perfect as an alarm.
Be sure to wake up early and take it easy while watching a morning TV program!

windowCRCK/LCKS

For those who want to start the morning feeling excited, “Mado” is highly recommended.
It was included on Double Rift, released in 2018 by CRCK/LCKS, a band whose members are active as support musicians and songwriters.
Its technically intricate sound—evoking city pop and jazz—bounces along with a light touch.
You’ll also get to enjoy distinctive tones like saxophone and keyboards.
It’s a pop song we especially want people who say, “I want to boost my morning energy with a glamorous pop track!” to hear.
Song of DawnRin Oto

An alarm song I especially recommend for summer is Yoakeno Uta.
It’s a track by the rapper Rin-ne, best known for the hit Snow Jam, released digitally in 2020.
You know those days when something great happened and you almost don’t want to fall asleep? This medium-tempo number has lyrics that let you savor the afterglow of a day like that or the eve of a day off, and it’s heart-tugging.
Paired with a warm track, the rhyming is a lot of fun.
A little bittersweet yet warm and emotional, this song is sure to make waking up feel pleasant.
Loverssumika

On a weekend morning when you can do what you love, you feel like listening to an upbeat song, right? “Lovers” is a track by the rock band sumika—known for creating music that gives people courage—released on their 2016 mini-album Answer Parade.
The song features a lively, marching band–like arrangement.
Its heartwarming lyrics, depicting a romance between a man and a woman, are sure to lift your spirits.
It’s a number I recommend to anyone who wants to start the day on a positive note.
Revival feat. asmiwacci

An exhilarating, feel-good song that energizes you from the morning! wacci’s May 2023 release was selected as the theme song for Fuji TV’s “Mezamashi Doyoubi.” The collaboration with asmi has come to life, resulting in a hopeful track woven from warm vocals and a soothing melody.
The lyrics, which give you the courage to take a new step forward, evoke the image of greeting a new morning after a long night, gently encouraging all who listen.
It’s the perfect song to play on a weekend morning as you look forward to a wonderful day ahead.
