I’ve worked in a variety of roles—regardless of pro or amateur settings—including live event PA, cameraman for video and photography, restaurant staff, and logistics center staff. The Cro-Magnons is a rock band formed around Hiroto Kōmoto and Masatoshi Mashima, also known from THE BLUE HEARTS and THE HIGH-LOWS.

Carrying on the same straightforward rock ’n’ roll sound from the THE BLUE HEARTS era, their music is passionate and catchy.

In 2019, they drew attention by performing the theme song for the hit drama “Mr.

It’s a song that brings back the feeling from when we first discovered that fast is cool—the kind of rock that stirs the deep, primal power within us.

The song “Kuro-Magnon Stomp,” included as the third track on their first single “Tally-Ho,” released in 2006.

It’s famous for being performed mainly as the first song at their live shows.

A wild, power-packed track true to The Cro-Magnons, driven by a raw rock beat.

It was also performed first at their very first live show, and although it’s not a single, I’d say it’s one of the songs that symbolizes them.

Needless to say, Masatoshi Mashima’s guitar solo is razor-sharp.

This song, included on The Cro-Magnons’ ninth album “JUNGLE 9,” was released in 2015.

The lyrics and music were written by Masatoshi Mashima, and it was used as the CM song for JA Bank’s “JA Direct Sales” commercial.

Though very simple and short, it’s a quintessential Cro-Magnons number with straightforward, punchy lyrics that make anyone want to start singing.
