illumination lights

[Christmas Origami] Make an illumination light with a single sheet 💡 How to make paper illumination #light #Christmas #lights #lighting #origami #paper #종이
illumination lights

I’ll show you how to fold illumination lights that are perfect for Christmas.

Use one-third of a sheet of origami paper.

First, place the origami paper face down in landscape orientation and fold about one-third of the right edge inward.

Unfold it, then fold the paper in half.

With the one-third fold at the top, turn the paper over.

Fold the bottom edge upward along a crease four times.

Fold the top edge down to meet the crease.

Rotate the paper so the accordion-folded section is on the right and the paper is horizontal, then squash-fold only the upper and lower right edges inward toward the center.

Fold the center corner inward and point it downward.

Next, fold the bottom edge up so it sits just slightly above the center, and tuck the protruding part into the center.

Slightly fold in the left and right edges, and tuck the bottom part in diagonally.

Pierce a hole at the top with a toothpick or similar tool, and your light is complete.

Make as many as you need, and finally thread them onto jute twine.

Hat and scarf

[Winter Origami] How to Fold a Hat and Scarf with Voice Commentary ☆ Winter Origami Hat and Muffler Tutorial / Tatsukuri
Hat and scarf

I’ll show you how to fold a very cute hat and scarf! Materials: one 7.5 × 7.5 cm sheet of origami paper, one 15 cm × 1.75 cm strip of origami paper, masking tape, and a craft piece like an animal to put the scarf and hat on.

First, the scarf.

Turn the strip over and fold the bottom edge up to meet the top edge twice.

Flip it top-to-bottom, and align the left end with the left side of the craft piece you’re putting the scarf on.

Wrap it to the right and trim any excess.

Lift one layer from the bottom and fold it up from the lower-left corner to the upper right.

Leave a small gap from the left and fold down to the lower left.

Bring the right end forward and overlap it, and the scarf is done.

Next, the hat.

Place the square so a corner faces you.

Fold into a triangle to make a crease.

Fold the top and bottom corners in to meet the center.

Unfold only the top, then fold the bottom corner up to meet the center crease.

Fold the top corner down to meet the crease just below it.

Turn it over, and align the top left and right corners with the point where the creases intersect to make guide folds.

Fold the top corner slightly to the back, then fold the left and right edges in along the diagonal creases.

Shape the bottom to form the hat, and it’s complete!

House of Chimneys

[Origami] How to Make a Cute Christmas Chimney House Frame (with Relaxed Voice Commentary)
House of Chimneys

I’ll show you how to fold a cute house by combining parts! Materials: four 7.5 cm × 15 cm sheets for the walls, one half-size sheet of a 15 cm origami paper, one 15 cm × 15 cm sheet for the interior of the house, one 15 cm × 15 cm sheet for the roof, one 7.5 cm × 7.5 cm sheet for the chimney, and glue.

First, place a wall sheet horizontally with the color you want for the window frame facing up.

Match the top and bottom edges to make a crease, then fold the bottom edge up to that crease.

Fold the edge back up to meet the bottom edge.

Hold the folded section and flip it downward.

Fold the lower-right corner to the center—this completes one wall part.

Make four of these and glue them together as you assemble them.

Insert the interior sheet behind the window frames.

For the roof, place the white side of the paper up, fold it into a triangle, and glue it in place to finish.

Finally, the chimney: place the colored side up, fold it in half vertically and open it, then make a small fold along the top edge.

Flip it over and fold the left and right edges to the center—done.

Glue all the parts together.
