Promise of SmilesKoshio Sakura

A heartwarming message song by Sakura Koshio filled with love for her hometown Fukushima and a wish for recovery.
Released in April 2016—five years after the Great East Japan Earthquake—the track is included on the mini-album “Our Things” and was produced with full support from the city of Aizuwakamatsu.
The music video, featuring local residents participating as volunteers, also drew attention.
The powerful vocals of the chorus group VOXRAY, whom she met at the recovery event Fukukonsai, leave a strong impression.
It’s a song that supports those who, even from afar, hold their hometown in their hearts and continue to keep hope for the future.

An uplifting song created with hopes for disaster recovery.
Seventy-five artists from STARTO ENTERTAINMENT join voices as one.
It was released digitally in April 2024, followed by a CD in July of the same year.
The track is marked by grand piano and strings, carrying a message: “Though there are hardships, let’s push forward toward a brighter tomorrow and future.” The project aims to support those affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake, with all proceeds donated.
It’s a recommended song for people facing challenges or those who want to keep moving forward.

Song of LifeTakeuchi Mariya

“Inochi no Uta” (Song of Life) is a piece that expresses the joy and gratitude of being born on this planet.
Originally released by the musical duo ManaKana as an insert song for the NHK morning drama series Dandan, it was later covered by Mariya Takeuchi herself.
Carried by a gentle melody that softly cradles feelings of anxiety and loneliness, her warm voice resonates throughout.
After the earthquake, even when it was hard to accept the reality before us, the presence of loved ones could give us courage.
Precisely because the situation was difficult, this is a recovery-encouragement song portraying people supporting one another.
Us, ten years from now10 for 10 TOHOKU

Marking the 10th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake, “Us Ten Years Later” was created with many heartfelt sentiments.
The song was written and composed by Satoru Sakamoto, vocalist of the Sendai-born rock band JIGGER’S SON, and features voices joined by people connected to Miyagi Prefecture, including Koichi Yamadera and Junko Yagami.
It’s a piece meant to be shared worldwide as an anthem of support—carrying the feelings that must not be allowed to fade, from wounds that still haven’t healed after ten years to the changes that have come over that time.
Let’s Try Again !Team Amuse

A charity song to support recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake, initiated by Keisuke Kuwata of Southern All Stars, who belongs to the talent agency Amuse, and produced by gathering talents from the agency.
It’s a lavish support song featuring a star-studded lineup including Southern All Stars, Masaharu Fukuyama, Perfume, and Porno Graffitti.
A medley of their signature hits, it’s a track that lifts your spirits.

A digital-only single released on April 11, 2011 via the iTunes Store and other platforms to support earthquake disaster recovery.
On iTunes, a collaborative video with professional figure skater Shizuka Arakawa was also made available.
Mai Kuraki reflected on what she could do in response to the disaster.
Through the song, the unwavering resolve conveyed in the lyrics—her determination to continue singing in order to bring hope—really comes through.

It’s a track by singer-songwriter Yu Ishigaki from Ishigaki Island in Okinawa Prefecture, digitally released in March 2024.
