This song, One, was released in limited quantities at live venues and on the official website as a charity single for the Great East Japan Earthquake.
A portion of the proceeds was donated as relief funds to the affected areas.
Inspired by seeing people working hard in the disaster-hit regions on TV and wanting to do something—to cheer them on—the feelings were put into this song.
It’s a simple yet deeply moving message of support: let’s move forward step by step, steadily.

Bank Band was formed mainly by Kazutoshi Sakurai of Mr.Children and music producer Takeshi Kobayashi.
Aside from those two, the lineup isn’t fixed and can change from time to time, but this song “to U” is Bank Band’s first single, released in 2006.
A stellar cast including Salyu, Yo Hitoto, and Tortoise Matsumoto lent their support and took part.
For those who have experienced a disaster, it’s a song that grips the heart, can bring you to tears, and also becomes a source of strength for tomorrow.

AA= is a solo project by Takeshi Ueda of the rock band THE MAD CAPSULE MARKETS, and AA= AiD is a project that AA= launched to support recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake.
The song “We’re not alone” is unusual for a recovery song in that it features an intense rock sound, with particularly distinctive guitar tones.
The powerful vocals from the stellar guest lineup are also energizing.
What the Palm TellsAKB48

As part of the AKB48 Group’s charity initiative “For Someone,” this was distributed worldwide for free in 2013.
The music video documents the group’s visits to disaster-affected areas and their recovery support activities.
It’s a gentle ballad that conveys emotions directly.

3090 ~Song of Love~LGMonkees

A singer-songwriter living in Fukushima whose home in Sendai was destroyed by the tsunami in the Great East Japan Earthquake, and who later spent time in an evacuation shelter.
This song, which expresses heartfelt feelings for their beloved father, drew attention by debuting at No.
2 on the RecoChoku weekly rankings.
It delivers sincere, straightforward emotions for cherished family.
Beautiful City ~ Let’s do our best! We love KOBE ~Hiramatsu Eri

The gentle singing voice resonates in the heart.
This song is by Eri Hiramatsu, a singer-songwriter from Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture.
Released in 1995 as her 16th single, it was created as the campaign song for “Gambaroya! WE LOVE KOBE,” wishing for Kobe’s recovery from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake.
It was also used as the CM song for JR West’s tourism campaign “Santo Monogatari.” The lyrics, which stand close to those who experienced the earthquake, are truly wonderful.
It’s a song that gives courage to people striving to overcome difficult times.
