Let me introduce some songs by E-girls, a group active as the “little sisters” of EXILE.
E-girls is a female entertainment collective composed of the teams Dream, Happiness, and Flower.
As mentioned at the outset, because they’re considered EXILE’s sister group, they aim for true entertainment through singing and dancing, and reportedly do not operate as idols.
Reflecting that philosophy, E-girls has sub-groups, Rabbits and Bunnies, and beneath them is a dance school called EXPG.
From this dance school, members can join Rabbits or Bunnies, and if they build up their skills, they can be promoted to E-girls; promotions and demotions are said to occur regularly.
Behind their high-quality entertainment lies this rigorous, merit-based system of working one’s way up.

AgainE-girls
I thought it was a song that could even be used as the ending theme for a kids’ show.
Even when I’m feeling down, listening to this track makes me imagine the future and helps me stay positive.
It’s a slower tempo, which is rare for E-girls, but I like this kind of song too.
CANDY SMILEE-girls
Released on March 13, 2013 as their fifth single, it was used as the commercial song for UHA Mikakuto’s “e-ma throat lozenges.” This release also came out under the name “e-girls,” using a lowercase “e” rather than “E.” Brimming with euphoria, it’s a track that puts a big smile on your face—a true candy smile!
CelebrationE-girls
This is E-girls’ memorable debut single from 2011.
While the track has a clear dance-music feel, its sound is influenced by Black music, and I think its distinguishing feature is that, in a good way, it doesn’t feel like typical Japanese idol music.
Dreaming GirlsE-girls
This is a song by the Dream team included on their first single of 2011, “Celebration.” It’s a track aimed at young women, singing about a girl who dreams.
Considering it’s just a B-side, the quality shows how serious Avex is.
E.G. Anthem -WE ARE VENUS-E-girls
Released on July 9, 2014, this is the ninth single, featuring all members of E-girls.
It’s a song that showcases everything about these ever-evolving artists, and it’s guaranteed to hype up the crowd at live shows.

E-girls’ Classic and Popular Songs (41–50)
HARAJUKU TIME BOMBE-girls
