Hit and popular songs by E-girls

Let me introduce some songs by E-girls, a group active as the “little sisters” of EXILE.

E-girls is a female entertainment collective composed of the teams Dream, Happiness, and Flower.

As mentioned at the outset, because they’re considered EXILE’s sister group, they aim for true entertainment through singing and dancing, and reportedly do not operate as idols.

Reflecting that philosophy, E-girls has sub-groups, Rabbits and Bunnies, and beneath them is a dance school called EXPG.

From this dance school, members can join Rabbits or Bunnies, and if they build up their skills, they can be promoted to E-girls; promotions and demotions are said to occur regularly.

Behind their high-quality entertainment lies this rigorous, merit-based system of working one’s way up.

E-girls’ Classic and Popular Songs (41–50)

Making Life!E-girls

This is one of the songs used in the making-of video for the TV commercial of the collaboration project “e-ma × E★girls,” known for e-ma, a next-generation throat lozenge with a clean, fruity taste.

The refreshingly catchy number perfectly fits the image of the product’s promotion.

Move It! -Dream & E-girls TIME-E-girls

Dream & E-girls / Move It! -Dream & E-girls TIME-
Move It! -Dream & E-girls TIME-E-girls

It’s a dance track that incorporates EDM tones.

It doesn’t have the genre’s typical blaring harshness; instead, it’s exceptionally tasteful as pop music.

It’s a double credit by Dream and E-girls.

As expected, the vocals are excellent.

Being able to both sing and dance is rare, and it’s wonderful.

The song gives off a mature, womanly vibe.

One Two ThreeE-girls

E-Girls / One Two Three (Short Ver)
One Two ThreeE-girls

Released on April 18, 2012, this second single was featured as the commercial song for Samantha Thavasa and OPA, as well as the ending theme for TV Asahi’s “Music-ru TV.” With its four-on-the-floor beat in the chorus and slightly more mature lyrics and melody, it’s a track that truly stirs the heart!

Ready GoE-girls

This song, which was the B-side of their third single and is also included on their first album, ‘Lesson 1,’ conveys the theme of taking on challenges in clear, accessible language for young listeners.

The key change toward the end and the ensuing guitar solo are top-notch as well.

STRAWBERRY SadisticE-girls

E-girls / STRAWBERRY Sadistic <Music Video> from HiGH & LOW ORIGINAL BEST ALBUM
STRAWBERRY SadisticE-girls

This is the song chosen as the theme for the women’s team “Ichigo Milk” in the drama HiGH & LOW.

It sings about a woman’s heart: even a tough, fired-up girl who appears in the drama and music video wants to be a cute girl in front of the person she likes.

The rock vibe is really cool!

The Neverending Story: Let Me Tell You a SecretE-girls

E-girls / “THE NEVER ENDING STORY ~Let Me Tell You a Secret~” -Short ver.-
The Neverending Story: Let Me Tell You a SecretE-girls

This is an arrangement of the global hit film theme song “THE NEVER ENDING STORY” that brings out E-girls’ vibe.

In addition to the movie’s sense of fantasy, its danceable sound is sure to be enjoyable for both those who know the original and those who don’t!

This is a cover of “Ureshii! Tanoshii! Daisuki!” included on the 2014 tribute album to DREAMS COME TRUE, “E-Girls – Ureshii! Tanoshii! Daisuki!”.

The original song was released in 1989 and became a hot topic as the jingle for Glico Pocky’s commercial.
