Let me introduce some songs by E-girls, a group active as the “little sisters” of EXILE.
E-girls is a female entertainment collective composed of the teams Dream, Happiness, and Flower.
As mentioned at the outset, because they’re considered EXILE’s sister group, they aim for true entertainment through singing and dancing, and reportedly do not operate as idols.
Reflecting that philosophy, E-girls has sub-groups, Rabbits and Bunnies, and beneath them is a dance school called EXPG.
From this dance school, members can join Rabbits or Bunnies, and if they build up their skills, they can be promoted to E-girls; promotions and demotions are said to occur regularly.
Behind their high-quality entertainment lies this rigorous, merit-based system of working one’s way up.

E-girls’ Greatest and Most Popular Songs (1–10)
Follow MeE-girls

Released in 2012 as the third single, this track was featured in numerous media outlets, starting with the Samantha Thavasa “Samantha Muse ALL STARS” commercial.
Its highly rhythmic, danceable vibe makes it a real crowd-pleaser.
Smile For MeE-girls

It was included as the coupling track to their 19th single, “Love ☆ Queen,” released in 2017.
Its dramatic lyrics and worldview are truly moving.
As a song from their new lineup, it showcases a very fresh side of E-girls.
Diamond OnlyE-girls

Released in 2014 as the eighth single, it was used as the TV commercial song for “Samantha Vega × Honey Bunch ~Disney New Collection~.” Its bright, positive lyrics and refreshing sound are catchy and memorable.
Mr.SnowmanE-girls

Released in 2014 as their 12th single, it was selected as the commercial song for UHA Mikakuto’s “e-ma throat lozenges” CM featuring E-girls members.
With a winter-inspired sound, it gives a very refreshing feeling.
DANCE WITH ME NOW!E-girls

It’s included on their first best-of album, E.G.
SMILE -E-girls BEST-, released in 2016.
It’s a very powerful track with intense dance performances that always gets the crowd going at live shows.
Piece of Your HeartE-girls
This is a song produced by a collaboration between the skilled musicians The Rooftop and Maria Okada, who wrote lyrics for E-girls’ CANDY SMILE and FASCINATION.
It portrays, with emotional depth, the heart of a woman in whom bravado and vulnerability coexist.
It’s a track that showcases a different side of E-girls’ expressive power than usual.
Pain, painE-girls

It’s the 22nd single, released in 2018.
It was also used as the theme song for the drama “Kimi ga Kokoro ni Sumitsuita.” As the title suggests, it’s a song that depicts emotional pain, and the way the arrangement brightens toward the chorus evokes a sense of unstable feelings.
