A delivering emotional rock sound, Ao is a three-woman band formed in April 2024.

The band was launched by its central figure, Zarame, in pursuit of new musical expression.

Zarame’s warm, powerful vocals combined with the driving sound created by Momo and maki have captured the hearts of many music fans.

Their nationwide eight-city tour, the “Beyond Baby Blue tour,” ran from October to November 2024, traveling from Shibuya to Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Kobe, Osaka, Nagoya, and Sendai, and concluded with a solo show at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM.

Taking its name from “Ao,” meaning blue—symbolizing youth and new beginnings—the band pours an unyielding spirit of dreams and hope into their songs.

Ao is highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy music with a positive outlook.

Yoeko is known for her style that blends jazz with Japanese popular songs.

She reportedly studied piano from a young age and began making music in a way that made use of that experience and skill.

After making her debut in 2000, her songs were even chosen as themes for TV programs.

However, in 2008 she suddenly announced her retirement.

After holding a final concert, she disappeared from the public eye, but in 2023 she announced her return to activity.

There’s growing excitement for what she’ll do next.

Nako Misaki is attracting the attention of many anime fans.

She is a voice actress known for playing Chisato Arashi in Love Live! Superstar!!.

She also showcases her magnificent singing voice as a member of Liella!, a musical unit formed through the Love Live! series.

Perhaps in response to the many requests for her to debut as a singer, her official solo debut was announced in 2023.

There is growing interest in what kind of songs she will create as a solo artist from now on.
