Karaoke songs that make it easy for women to score high
Karaoke systems with scoring features have been getting more and more sophisticated lately, and an increasing number now evaluate vocal techniques like vibrato and scooping.
However, the largest part of the scoring criteria is still the accuracy of melody and rhythm.
In this feature, we focus on those criteria and have compiled a selection of songs that are easy to sing and likely to score high, especially ones where it’s easy to follow the melody and rhythm.
When karaoke has a scoring function, you can’t help but want to go for a high score, whether you’re confident in your singing or not.
For each song, we’ve also included tips on how to earn a high score, so be sure to use them as a reference and aim for your best.
That said, the most important thing is to forget about the numbers and just sing freely and have fun the way you like!

Karaoke Songs Recommended for Women That Are Easy to Score High On (111–120)
snakeYorushika

Yorushika’s latest song, “Hebi” (“Snake”).
Since releasing “Aporia,” Yorushika has continued putting out lower-key tracks, and this new song is also arranged within a narrow range that’s easy for anyone to sing.
This work doesn’t feature the extremely low phrases that are characteristic of Yorushika.
Rather than being a “low” song, it feels more like a piece with a limited vocal range, and in keeping with that, the vocal line is crafted to be gently shaped with minimal rises and falls.
Because the instrumentation is somewhat subdued, be mindful of fade-outs and breathing when singing so the vocals don’t stick out awkwardly.

moon bathingYorushika

Gekkouyoku (Moonlight Bath) is Yorushika’s 16th single, released as a digital-only track and written specifically as the theme song for the film Kaina of the Great Snow Sea: Star Sage.
It is characterized by its soothing vocals and literary lyrics.
A key singing tip is to maintain a bright tone throughout.
In the mid-to-high range in particular, keep your chin tucked slightly and aim the resonance toward the upper palate.
Also pay attention to dynamics: in the latter half of the song, use chest voice for the lower notes to create a clear contrast with the first half.
While blending with the dramatic ensemble, the acoustic guitar adds a distinctive sense of depth, making the track all the more compelling.
Operation Awake (feat. Kaai Yuki)Yukopi

Among Vocaloid producers, Yukopi stands out as particularly unique.
They keep releasing songs that are comedic, surreal, and somehow cute, and their unwavering musical style has earned them a devoted fanbase.
Their new track is Okiteru Daisakusen (feat.
Kaai Yuki).
As with their previous works, this song is characterized by a comedic and surreal tone.
True to form, it’s wrapped in an extremely singable, catchy vocal line, making it a perfect choice for aiming for a high score regardless of your vocal range.
Someone like you.riria.

Lilia is a female singer-songwriter who has gained popularity for her musical style influenced by Koresawa.
With catchy melodies and down-to-earth lyrics, she’s especially popular among teenage girls.
Among her songs, the one I particularly recommend is Anta Nante.
Although it’s crafted as an orthodox J-pop ballad, this piece has a relatively narrow vocal range compared to her other works.
There are no difficult high notes or drastic pitch changes, making it a song that’s easier to aim for a high score with at karaoke.
CharlotteSuiyōbi no Campanella

“Charlotte,” a classic by Wednesday Campanella.
Because their music prioritizes groove, many of their vocal lines are simple, and this track in particular features an especially singable melody.
Given the song’s bright feel, you might think it has lots of high parts, but the actual vocal range is fairly narrow.
The rhythm is easy to catch, and there are no drastic pitch jumps or long sustained notes, making it perfect for aiming for a high score at karaoke.
Give it a try!
Baseless rumorAKB48

AKB48’s 58th single, released on September 29, 2021.
When you want to aim for a high score at karaoke, choosing an idol song—like those by AKB—with a very simple melody is one of the straightforward strategies.
The song we’re introducing this time, ‘Ne mo Ha mo Rumor,’ is no exception; I think it has a simple and accessible melody.
Since it’s an up-tempo track with rather fast-paced vocals, be sure to keep a solid sense of rhythm and take care not to let the lyrics get tangled!
sunflowerAdo

This is Japanese singer Ado’s 17th digital single, released in July 2023.
It was used as the theme song for the TBS Tuesday drama “18/40: Dreams and Love, If We’re Together.” As the title suggests, just listening to it conjures up images of a sunflower field under a clear summer sky.
Ado delivers a superb performance, employing a variety of vocal tones and expressive techniques.
The melody itself, however, doesn’t cover a particularly wide range and is quite easy to hum along to, making it a great choice if you want to aim for a high score at karaoke.
If you sing it with clear contrasts between each section of the song, it will sound even better!
